Jusant is the latest game from Don’t Nod Entertainment, the studio best known for Life is Strange, Vampyr and many others with great stories and interesting gameplay. This game especially caught my attention just because of its gameplay; I knew it was going to be something different. I knew I was going to have a good time.
But first, what is Juan? Jusant is a term most commonly used in maritime and coastal contexts. It is a French word that means “receding tide.” And this is the premise of the story. The world as we know it has dried up. All the water suddenly disappeared. But that’s not entirely true. In this world, there are these creatures called Ballasts. Ballasts are these giant floating creatures that look like giant whales, but are made of water. And that’s why people, knowing that these creatures are made of water, are hunting them to extinction.

Our silent protagonist carries a small baby ballast that helps him on this journey to find the Ballasts. At first, he wasn’t entirely sure what his mission was, since the game doesn’t have much of a story to tell what’s going on. Instead, you learn the game’s story through notes you pick up along the way. The story that is most closely related to our protagonist’s quest is the story of this ballast hunter as he climbs the same mountain that our protagonist is climbing. From what I can understand from the story, the protagonist is trying to reunite his little ballast friend with the other ballasts and at the same time searches for a water source.
Jusant is a climbing, platform and puzzle exploration game. Okay, wow, that was complicated, but anyway, it’s a game about how to get there with many possible paths. The puzzles can be tricky at times, but if you really explore and see where things are, you can probably find a solution to any problem you face. The game provides hints along the way in the form of tutorials on how to do certain things in the game, such as what controls to use to climb or how to get your little ballast friend to help you. It’s one of the most interesting climbing games I’ve ever played, as you use both shoulder buttons if you’re using a controller to climb things. Left for your left hand and right for your right hand. So it seems like you are controlling how the protagonist goes up.

But if you find these controls too difficult to master, the game also has accessibility features for those who just want to relax and enjoy the beauty of this game. And I’m telling you, this game has many beautiful things for you to enjoy and discover. I’m not going to tell you how many chapters there are in this game, but I can tell you that at least in each chapter of the game, the game adds more elements and ways to climb this huge mountain. There will also be chapters where you explore the interior of the mountain instead of just climbing cliffs.
The graphics of the game are really good and even though I play on low settings, I can still enjoy the beauty and serene landscapes that this game has to offer. I really enjoyed taking a moment and being amazed at the wonder of this beautifully designed game. Of course, if you’re afraid of heights, this may not be the game for you, as it can be too intimidating when you’re staring into the abyss of nothingness.
Combine that with the beautiful audio this game has to offer, and you’re in for the most relaxing and stressful game you’ll ever play. There are even moments in the game where our protagonist takes a shell and simply listens to the sounds of the past through the wind. It’s like those moments in games like Life is Strange where you really take some time away from the hustle and bustle of the game and really admire the beautiful sights, sounds, and scenes of this game.

Jusant is one of those games where you have all these trials and dangers that you have to overcome along the way and you hope that something very rewarding awaits you at the end of the journey. And I’m happy to say that the trip was worth it and the reward was this beautiful masterpiece of a finale.
The only thing I really find sometimes that this game has problems with is that there are times that your character just gets “stuck” in certain areas where they shouldn’t be stuck. I don’t know if this is a bug or if I’m not supposed to go through there, but it happens. I wouldn’t say it’s revolutionary though, because it rarely happens and it’s not something you can find every step of the way.
In general, I think the puzzles can be very complicated at times and like I said, it’s really about being observant and just trying everything you can to come out on top. The game gives you the freedom to explore on your own and try everything you can to reach the destination. And I love that freedom; It gives the game this open world feel.
Anyone who loves a good climbing puzzle game will truly love Jusant and its protagonist. From the many exciting landscapes you’ll encounter along your journey to the soundtrack that keeps you motivated to keep going. Jusant is a must if you ever feel like doing something challenging and daunting.

How to solve children’s songs
Nursery rhymes are usually found on pieces of paper on the floor or surrounded by chalk drawings. Surrounding the site of these rhymes is recording equipment that can be used as landmarks to easily locate the sites.
To solve these riddles, certain dolls must be placed in the correct picture according to the nursery rhyme written on the site paper. These dolls are often found nearby and some of them are reused for other nursery rhymes elsewhere.
Once the correct dolls are placed on the correct drawings, a dull sound can be heard and reality changes slightly, often revealing footprints or enemies, as well as a special amulet that can be obtained. Remember to pick up the dolls after hearing the sound, as you will need them in other puzzles.
Nursery Rhyme Locations and Solutions
Nursery Rhyme #1: Camp Cauldron Lake

From the west side of Lake Cauldron, cross the bridge that leads to the area where the Witchfinder Station and the private cabin are located. Just after the bridge, look to the left to find a camp with FBC gear and a drawing on the ground.
To solve this nursery rhyme, head to the nearby picnic table and get the Crow doll. Place the doll over the sun, drawing on the ground. This will make the hammer charm appear on the picnic table.
Nursery Rhyme #2: Cauldron Lake Witch Hunter Station

Go to the Witchfinder Station, where you will find the nursery rhyme and drawings outside.
To solve this nursery rhyme, enter the station and go up the stairs. Inside the room with the playpen, you will find Hero Doll and Wolf Doll. Bring these dolls to the drawing, then place the Hero Doll on the ship drawing and the Wolf Doll on the tree drawing. This will make the Coffee Cup Charm They appear inside the park.
Nursery Rhyme #3: Private Cabin on Cauldron Lake

Head to the private cabin and you will find the nursery rhyme on the right after crouching under the fallen log.
To solve this nursery rhyme, make sure you have the Crow, Hero and Wolf dolls with you. Place the Raven on the chick picture, the Hero on the heart picture, and the Wolf on the house picture.
Next, head to the pond north of the cabin and inspect the fallen birdhouse, where you will find the Kalevala Knights Charmbut be careful of the possessed wolf in the area.
Nursery Rhyme #4: Water Shooting Range

Head to the shooting range and look for the path heading south, where you will find the nursery rhyme and the drawing.
To solve this nursery rhyme, look for the moose doll and the deer doll nearby. Then, you just need to place the Moose on the tree drawing. Retrace your steps from this area and you will find a moose statue that has the Coffee Cup Charm.
Nursery Rhyme #5: Watery Radio Tower

Follow the path north to where the Radio Tower is until you reach the end where the nursery rhyme is.
To solve this nursery rhyme, place the deer doll on the drawing of the house. Then wolves will appear to attack you. Eliminate the wolves and you will find the body of a deer that has the deer charm.
Nursery Rhyme #6 – Watery Lighthouse Trailer Park

Head to the fish cleaning station at the end of the park to find the Bear Doll and the Wise Old Man Doll. Then, head to the nearby dock to find the Mother Doll and the Child Doll on the green bench. Finally, go to the end of the pier to find the nursery rhyme.
To solve this nursery rhyme, place the Wise Old Man on the wave picture and the Bear on the candy picture. Follow the fish trail to the cleaning station to find a catch; Defeat him and get the Coffee World Token Charm Next to the table.
Children’s Rhyme #7 – Aquatic Lighthouse

Go to the lighthouse where you can find the Trickster Doll next to the stairs. Then go to the eastern edge where you will find the nursery rhyme.
To solve this nursery rhyme, place the Trickster on the wave picture and the Wise Old Man on the eye picture. Then he looks to the north side, where you will find the remains of a sunken ship on the coast. Head to these remains where you will find the lighthouse charm.
Nursery Rhyme #8 – Watery Latte Lagoon

Head to the Latte Lagoon dock where the nursery rhyme is located.
To solve this nursery rhyme, place the moose on the wave picture, the trickster on the jewelry picture, and the deer on the boat picture. One of the floating chairs will start to move, and on it is the Mr. Drippy Charm.
Nursery Rhyme #9: Ranger’s Water Cabin

Enter the cabin and go up to the second floor. The Maiden Doll and the Monster Doll can be found on the desk by the window. The nursery rhyme is located at the back of the cabin.
To solve this nursery rhyme, place the Maiden on the tree picture and the Bear on the heart picture. She goes back to bed on the second floor, where FBC Charm is.
Nursery Rhyme #10 – Watery Center

Go to Saimi’s catch of the day and enter the house to the room on the left side where the nursery rhyme can be found.
To solve this nursery rhyme, place the Maiden on the picture of the house and the Trickster on the picture of the jewels. She goes back out and checks the mailbox by the stairs to get the Coffee Cup Charm.
Nursery Rhyme #11 – Bright Falls Bunker Forest
Go to the west side of Bunker Woods, near the bridge, to find the nursery rhyme.

To solve this nursery rhyme, place the Mother in the picture of the house and the Child in the picture of the tree. She then follows the trail of toys, which turns into a trail of paw marks, to find the lantern charm.
Nursery Rhyme #12 – Bright Falls Ranger Station
Enter the ranger station and head to the back room to find the nursery rhyme.
To solve this nursery rhyme, place the Boy in the picture of the house and the Monster in the picture of the candy. From the back entrance of the station, follow the tracks to the second floor and check the room on the right where the Coffee Cup Charm It can be found.
Children’s Rhyme #13 – Shore of Bright Falls
Head northeast from the ranger station to reach the shore where the nursery rhyme is located.
To solve this nursery rhyme, place the Monster on the wave picture, the Boy on the jewelry picture, and the Mother on the boat picture. Then, head to the small boat nearby, where you can find the Valhalla Nursing Home Charm.
Nursery Rhyme #14 – Billie’s Shipyard in Bright Falls

Go to the largest dock at Billie’s Boat Yard to find the nursery rhyme.
To solve this nursery rhyme, place the Mother on the picture of the wave and the Monster on the picture of the boat. Head to the nearest smaller dock and look at the turned ship to find the Anchor Charm.
Nursery Rhyme #15 – Watery Lighthouse Trailer Park

After getting the bolt cutters from the Valhalla Nursing Home, return to the Lighthouse Trailer Park and look for the house on the east side that has a chain-link fence. Cut the chain and enter the house to find the nursery rhyme.
To solve this nursery rhyme, place the Wise Old Man on the eye picture and the Deer on the heart picture. He returns to the main room and defeats the Taken, then places the Deerfest Amulet on top of the wooden crates.
Nursery Rhyme #16 – Cauldron Lake Cabin Rentals

After completing the 15 nursery rhymes above, head to the northeast cabin and go through the right door to find the nursery rhyme.
To solve this nursery rhyme, place the Monster on the chick picture, the Crow on the eye picture, and the Hero on the jewelry picture. Go to the other cabin just ahead and then defeat the Taken inside. You can get the coffee cup amulet next to the desk ahead.
There is also an FBC case on the floor that will only be available after completing all nursery rhymes up to this point. This case contains the father doll.
Nursery Rhyme #17 – Cauldron Lake Witch Hunter Station
After obtaining the Father Doll, return to the Witchfinder Station, where you will find that more drawings have appeared inside the station. There is only one drawing per site and they are scattered in different parts of the station. There will also be a recording of the latest children’s song in the background.

To solve this nursery rhyme, from the main entrance of the station, go to the right side of the desk and place Father on the eye drawing.

Go to the bedroom on the right side and place the hero on the drawing of the sun.

Go to the kitchen and place the Mother on the heart drawing.

Go to the bathroom and place the Trickster on the wave drawing.

Go to the park and place the Child on the drawing of the chick.

The recording then becomes a broadcast and grabs your attention. Go back down and head to the desk where the radio is and talk to the person on the other end of the transmission. After a few moments, the call will drop and a Dark Node will appear. Dispel the node and you can get a Additional Charm Slot.

Phasmophobia has long had malicious ghosts eager to get pesky paranormal investigators to join the other side. However, not all dead spirits are killers and Kinetic Games finally added the option to have a friendly ghost after a long time. In this guide, I’ll show you how to activate a friendly ghost so you can investigate without worries.
How to enable friendly ghost
Friendly Ghost can be activated from the difficulty tab just below the Ghost settings. Before starting a game in the lobby, you can choose the difficulty you want. Click the edit icon to the right of Difficulty.

This will take you to a page where you will see the Player, Ghost, and Contract tabs. You can see the overview of the settings for each tab. Click Ghost and then click the edit icon at the bottom right.

Scroll down until you find the Friendly Ghost option. It is disabled by default. Set it to On and then click Apply. This will change the difficulty to Custom. Now click Back until you are in the lobby and can start a match without the ghost chasing you.

What does Friendly Ghost do?
Friendly Ghost disables the ghost’s ability to hunt, meaning you and your friends can’t die. It will still cause ghost events and cause other frightening disturbances, but otherwise you will not be harmed.
There is a consequence to activating this setting. For one, you can’t complete objectives that require the ghost to hunt players. You also cannot get any rewards for investigations with Friendly Ghost activated.
This setup makes it easier to complete events like finding the Phasmophobia Halloween 2023 pumpkins. They’re a good way to speed up finding limited-time collectibles if you don’t want to be bothered by aggressive ghosts.

You will find all 9 Phasmophobia 2023 Halloween recipe cards inside pumpkins hidden in different maps. The ones with pumpkin icons on the map board will show you which locations have the ingredient notes you’re looking for.

Once you get the note inside the pumpkin, it will reveal one of the recipes you need to find the ingredients for Maple Lodge. It is not necessary to complete the game to register it as done. You can just leave by exiting through the van or just exit directly to the lobby from the menu. It is important to note that the ghost can still hunt you while you search for the Recipe Cards. Especially if you have to go into the house. You can enable Friendly Ghost to make sure they don’t bother you while you search for them.

10 Ridgeview Court Pumpkin Location

Go down to the basement and you will see a pumpkin on one of the shelves to the left when you get under the stairs. Take the recipe card that says “Frog Finger x1” and you’re done.

13 Willow Street Pumpkin Location

The note about the recipe ingredients is just outside the fan. Go out and take it to the side of the bush lining. This one says “Light in the darkness x1”. Probably the easiest recipe note to understand.

42 Edgefield Road Pumpkin Location

You will have to enter the house to get this recipe card. Go to the second floor and go around until you reach the second to last bedroom. You’ll know because the walls are blue. The pumpkin is on top of the trash can next to the table. This one says “Death’s Rot x1”.

6 Tanglewood Drive Pumpkin Location

This one is right in the kitchen. After entering from the living room, turn left and you will see a bench. Look below for the pumpkin with the recipe note. This one says “Bowl of Smiles x1”.

Bleasdale Farm Pumpkin Location

You will have to get to the third floor attic to get this recipe ingredient note. It’s behind some boxes in front of you once you reach the top of the stairs. This one says “Mind Jar x1”.

Woodwind Pumpkin Camp Location

You don’t have to look very far to see this recipe card. It’s literally right behind the front door on the left. This one says “Bear Eye x2”.

Grafton Farm Pumpkin Location

It is not necessary to enter the house to get this recipe ingredient. Just walk around until you’re in the back where they’re growing a pumpkin patch. Among them is a glowing pumpkin in the center. It has the note you are looking for that says “Beanbag x3”.

Maple Lodge Pumpkin Campground Location

Enter the door and go left to reach the campfire with the cauldron. This is the same place you go to add all the ingredients to the cauldron for later. The pumpkin with the recipe ingredient that says “Love’s Blossom x1” is on one of the seats near the guitar.

Prison Pumpkin Location

Go to the center of the prison on the first floor. That’s where the central control room is. You will find the pumpkin on the desk with the note “Screaming Skull x1”.

Find all recipe card rewards
Finding all the recipe cards will reward you with the new ID card badge that you can show off to your friends. It’s the Pumpkin badge on your Player ID, which is half of the Halloween 2023 event rewards.
When you’ve collected all the recipe cards, it’s time to head to Maple Lodge and collect the ingredients for the Phasmophobia Halloween 2023 event. Doing so will earn you the Halloween ’23 trophy.

The Platinum run for Alan Wake 2 will take you between 18 and 27 hours, depending on how efficient you are with collectibles. As you may have noticed, there are many Bronze trophies and only 1 Silver trophy. There are no gold trophies to speak of.
The good news is that you can do it all in a single game. The bad news is that there are a couple of trophies that can be missed: The Koskela brothers and The writer’s trail. This is because you can miss them in the chapters that appear. This is strange because the game is a semi-open world and you can get pretty much all the other collectibles, as long as you get them before you reach the story point right before the climax.
There is 6 commercials from Brother Koskela to see it in total. Commercials only appear for Saga. We don’t know if you need to watch the commercial in its entirety or if the moment you saw it counts. As far as I know, the commercial for Return 1: Invitation may be lost if you decide to leave Bright Falls too soon.
Writer’s Journey videos are Alan’s unique collectible equivalent. Arrive The writer’s trail Bronze trophy, you have to see everything. 8 videos when you find open televisions. As far as we know, there are more than a few errors that you could miss if you just skimmed through the chapters.
Once you have completed the first 5 chapters of the game, you will have the ability to swap stories to advance the story of any of the characters. This is the time when you can unlock the other side Bronze trophy.
Amulets are equippable items that provide benefits to Saga Anderson. They are mainly found after completing the nursery rhyme puzzle locations, of which there are 17 of themand requires you to find 13 dolls of children’s songs to complete. If you manage to find all the dolls, you will unlock the I’ll find you Bronze trophy. Completing all nursery rhyme puzzles will unlock the Change in reality Bronze trophy.
There is 14 unique charms in total but copies of amulets that do the same increase the number to 18. One of them is The beautiful things in life Bronze trophy. You can get this trophy and amulet after petting Mayor Setter. The other amulets are consumable coffee cup amulets that will save you from death but destroy themselves afterwards. You will have to die with one equipped to unlock the Back to life Bronze trophy.
Cult Stash and Lunch Boxes are collectibles that Saga can find throughout the city. There are 43 in total, 22 Cult Stashes and 21 Lunch Boxes. Discovering 1 of each will unlock the secret hiding places Bronze trophy and finding all 43 will unlock the Hidden by the trees trophy. Hideouts are generally worth searching for, as they provide supplies and weapons like the crossbow. Lunchboxes, meanwhile, reward you with Manuscript Fragments that you can use to upgrade Saga weapons.
And my last advice is how to get the Coffee-themed fun Bronze trophy. You can get it at Coffee World, accessible in Return 3: Local Girl. Playing as Saga, you can roam the park looking for a cardboard cutout of Mr. Drippy and his friends. You unlock the trophy by shooting Mr. Dripy or any other cardboard cutout.

And that’s all I have in terms of things you might miss on your way to getting the Platinum trophy for Alan Wake 2. The rest of the trophies are either combat-based or story-related to some degree. You can’t miss them, even if you try. But please don’t tempt fate if it leads to you losing the trophy.
