Rogue City ending options explained

RoboCop: Rogue City has multiple endings decided by the decisions you have made throughout the campaign. Being an interquel that unites RoboCop 2 and RoboCop 3, Rogue City responds to much of what happens between the two films. However, much of what happens is actually under your control.
In this article, I will explain each of the RoboCop: Rogue City endings and what happens in them. Not just the big decisions, like what to do with the Old Man in the end, but also what happens to supporting characters like Ulysses Washington and Samantha Ortiz. Beware of major spoilers since we’re talking about the ending.
There are multiple variants of the different endings of RoboCop: Rogue City. You can unlock a specific ending depending on the decisions you have made. When it comes to both the main story quests and side quests, there are different fates that await each character.
Save the old man or let him die Finale
The last choice you will make in RoboCop: Rogue City. After the final boss fight, RoboCop will decide whether to save the Old Man, let him die, or kill him. Here is the result of each election:
What happens if you save the Old Man?

Saving the Old Man is the good ending of Robocop: Rogue City and the best choice. RoboCop has a moment of humanity as he musters the strength to push the Old Man’s debris away. He succeeds and the Old Man manages to get up. However, other debris approaches RoboCop and the Old Man returns the favor by pushing him out of the way and being crushed by the debris.
This choice reflects that no matter what you choose, the Old Man is crushed to death. It’s simply the symbolic nature of this ending that shows the humanity there is in both Murphy and the Old Man. Despite the metallic exterior, there is the soul of what makes them human beings.
What happens if you let the Old Man die?

For everything he’s done, RoboCop looks at the Old Man with apathy. He turns to leave the ruined OCP building while the Old Man can only try to reach him in vain.
This choice is also symbolic and with a bit of irony. The Old Man spent his entire life working for OCP only for the building to act on his arrogance and crush him. He lived by OCP and died by OCP. However, this is reflected as a more robotic response to RoboCop, who suppresses his human nature.
What happens if you kill the Old Man?

Instead of just walking away, RoboCop rips out the cables that power the Old Man. He makes sure the Old Man is sacrificed forever.
The Old Man may not have been responsible for killing Murphy, but he had a hand in turning him into the Frankenstein machine he is today. Not only that, RoboCop discovers that the Old Man is the one who secretly finances Wendell who shot Lewis. This choice also represents a small part of the human side of RoboCop. Even if it’s just a more vengeful and spiteful side of his humanity.
What happens to the ending of Ulysses Washington?
Ulysses Washington is the new recruit assigned to guard RoboCop. However, his fellow officers often mistreat him because he comes from OCP. You have the opportunity to help him gain character and be accepted by his co-workers.
There are multiple opportunities in the game to support Ulysses. You will mainly be able to do this during the Field Training side quest and by telling the sergeant. Reed, whether you trust him or not. This will affect what happens to him in the end.
What happens if you help Ulysses?

If he continues to support Ulysses and tells Reed that he trusts him, Ulysses will remain in OCPD. The ending shows that Ulysses is happy as a police officer and that he has just saved his first animal from a restaurant by using them as ingredients.
This is without a doubt the best ending for Ulysses Washington. Not only does he earn the respect of his peers but he proves to be a capable police officer. He lives a happier life as a police officer than as a corporate shill working for OCP.
What happens if you don’t help Ulysses?

By not supporting Ulysses and telling Reed that you don’t trust him, Ulysses will eventually leave the OCPD. The ending shows Ulysses Washington as an OCP employee who saves the life of a police officer. However, he is in trouble for trying to steal said officer’s badge because he claims it was once his.
I’m not going to lie, this ending of Ulysses is equally sad and funny. He shows that even when he fails as a police officer, Ulysses is still a good guy. However, he clearly misses the life of a public servant, as his attempts to steal the officer’s badge prove somewhat comical.
What about Samantha Ortiz’s ending?
Depending on whether you helped intrepid reporter Samantha Ortiz on her side missions, the ending of the game will be affected. RoboCop can choose to arrest her for breaking the law or help her reveal the truth against OCP.
What happens if you help Samantha Ortiz?

Samantha will not reveal RoboCop’s malfunction near the end of the game and even gives him the only recording of it. However, Channel 9 incriminates her for collaborating with terrorists and trying to expose the OCP. It is evident that she loses her job.
There are many instances in the game where you will be tempted to arrest Samantha. But if you can persevere at it, she will eventually recover. Samantha will even protect RoboCop and apologize to him.
What happens if you don’t help Samantha Ortiz?

Samantha cannot prove her accusations against the OCP. However, she manages to land relatively well. Her ending makes her the host of Channel 9’s morning show.
It’s not the worst of fates considering what happens to the others. Being a morning show host isn’t a bad job, but Samantha is clearly destined for more. Unlike other journalists, it’s clear that Samantha wants to do what’s best for the people of Detroit. Even if she is antagonistic towards RoboCop.
What’s up with Pickles ending?
Pickles, who acts as Briggs’ informant, occasionally finds himself helping RoboCop. However, after a side mission where you help him find a movie only to discover that the Torch Heads hid money in the case, you must decide whether to let him keep the stolen money or accept it.
What happens when you take Pickles’ money?

Pickles manages to reform and finds work in the theater. He even addresses a hostage situation perpetuated by a former senator.
What happens if you let Pickles keep the money?

Letting Pickles keep the money leads to him being arrested later for trying to buy Nuke. At the end of RoboCop: Rogue City, Pickle overdoses on Nuke and morticians find stolen reptiles and watches inside his corpse.
What happens to Dr. Blanche’s ending?
After his malfunction at the beginning of the game, RoboCop is assigned a therapist named Dr. Olivia Blanche. Your responses to her will decide how she will defend RoboCop at the end of the game.
What happens if you support Dr. Blanche?

It is mentioned on Channel 9 news that Dr. Blanche can calm an ED-209 by keeping a cool head, which she learned from RoboCop. This prevents a deadly altercation that could have quickly turned ugly. Olivia Blanche even writes a book titled “How to Cope with Loss,” which is valuable to both humans and machines.
Considering that we are talking about an ED-209, being able to calmly defuse a situation is not an easy task. The good doctor learned to operate machines from her time with RoboCop.
What happens if you don’t support Dr. Blanche?

If you don’t support Dr. Blanche, the altercation in the parking lot unfortunately turns deadly when ED-209 knocks down a SunBlock 5000 model. Dr. Blanche witnesses everything and is clear that she does not trust the machines as agents of the law. .
What’s up with the mayor’s ending?
Election Day is near in Detroit, which means politicians will do anything to get elected. As the city’s hero, citizens naturally look to RoboCop for his opinion on who to support. The election of the mayor in this game has a significant impact on the ending of the game.
What happens if you support Kuzak?

Kuzak is elected mayor and promises to sue the OCP even if he has to use a “Japanese” lawyer to do so. However, despite needing RoboCop’s help to get re-elected, he distances himself from the OCPD officer and refuses to grant him human rights.
What happens if you support Mills?
Mills is elected mayor. However, since Delta City is ruled out, he quickly resigns and leaves Detroit to fend for itself. When things get bad, John Mills shows his true nature by fleeing despite promises to help the city of Detroit and even grant RoboCop his human rights.

Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn

Branded It is the third main mission of Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn. After accidentally revealing her powers and reactivating the mausoleum, Nazamil flees the group, fearing she will be rejected once again.
Read on as we progress through the Branded events in Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn and share some tips on how to complete each of the quest objectives.
See previous: Warmth Tutorial

Follow Nazamil

Core stabilization layer
The rooms ahead are full of enemies, but most of them can be avoided.
From the control room, head south, then enter the room to the southwest to find a Elixir. Go to the next southern path and follow it to the next area. Take the southwest path to find a Elemental Guard.
Return to the previous area and take the northeast path, turning south at the next fork. Overcome enemies to get the Mumbane.

Head to the northeast room at the end of the path, where you’ll find a ramp leading down to the Control Compartment.
Control compartment
In this level, the eastern room, where you are closest, is where you can fight an optional special zeugle, the Keyami Ooze. This enemy only takes 1 point of damage per hit and his attacks can deal enough damage to cause a one-hit KO. Just stay on top of the heals and try not to wipe out your entire team. Once defeated, you will receive a large amount of SP and some herbs.

Cross the hallway to the southwest room for now, where there is a barrier you can knock down. Inside the room there is a Astral Flower.

Finally, head to the middle section and open the shortcut to the upper level in the northern part of the hallway, then head to the door on the other side and prepare for a boss fight.
Defeat Nimus Pandemonium

After the short scene where you meet Nazamil again, you will face the Nimus Pandemonium.
This boss is a Helganquil that has a body type that resembles an arachnid. The vulnerable part of him is his tail, which is located in the middle of his legs, and is the only part that can be reached from the ground besides the hard legs.
In the first phase of the fight, pay attention to his jump attack. Once he jumps and disappears from the screen, he times it to evade a second later to avoid the blow from him. Once he has taken enough damage, the boss will fall, allowing you to reach his crystal head, which is his weak point.
Once your health is below 50%, you will gain more attacks. Be on the lookout for the following:

Leg Stomp: The boss will stomp his legs one by one, dealing damage to those below and around him.
Claw Blast: The boss will plant its claws into the ground and then release a long-lasting explosion emanating from the claws.

In this phase, the boss also resists being staggered, so you only have his tail to target most of the time. Be aware of healing and resuscitation, if necessary.
After defeating the boss, another cutscene will play. You will then be rewarded with 40,000 EXP. Your work here at the mausoleum is not over yet, as there is one more task to do.
Seal the innermost door of the mausoleum.
Head to the exit to return to the hallway. Another cutscene will play where the room will be sealed. you will also receive The First Seal Trophy for completing this mausoleum.

RoboCop Rogue City All PCB Board Locations and Specialties

The Auto-9 weapon is the best weapon in RoboCop Rogue City, there is no doubt about it. But we can make the old reliable ones even stronger through PCB boards. In this guide I will tell you where you can find all the PCB boards in the game and what they offer you in terms of firepower.
You first gain access to the PCB boards at the beginning of the Mandatory Assessment main quest. These plates allow you to change the nature of the Auto-9 in order to adapt it as the situation requires. Or you can decide to go for the highest DPS and ignore everything else. Everything is alright.
How to change PCB boards in RoboCop Rogue City
You won’t be able to see which board you have equipped until you get the second board. You will only see the board name once you have purchased your second board. When you do, the ‘CHANGE BOARD’ will appear and that’s when you can swap boards at will.
It should be noted that the upgrade chips you apply remain on the current board. If you want to transfer to the board, you will need to press the ‘RESET’ button and take out all the tokens. Additionally, the ENGINEERING skill directly affects the quality of the tokens you collect. But it does not affect the tokens you currently have in your possession.

RoboCop Rogue City Omni Board List
There are 10 Omni boards to find at various points in the story. You will most likely overlook them as they are conveniently located in areas where the mission objectives will be. But it’s still possible to miss them if you’re not paying attention.

1x weapon extension
1x reload speed

Chipset:

3x weapon damage
2x magazine capacity
1x weapon extension
1x reload speed
2x armor piercing
-10% penalty (full board access)
Massive Damage: Increases damage dealt; no critical hits
Single Shot Mode: Fires one round at a time; causes a lot of damage

Comments: Hand cannon board. It hits hard, but the loss of critical hits means that no matter where you shoot, it deals the same amount of damage. Slow shooting speed.

Omni Board – Level 3.3
Location: Found on a desk in the middle of the drug supply room during the Steel Factory’s unwanted goods secondary objective.

Chipset:

4x weapon damage
1x charger capacity
2x weapon scatter

Chipset:

4x weapon damage
2x magazine capacity

Chipset:

4x weapon damage
2x magazine capacity
1x weapon extension
3x reload speed

-40% penalty (full board access)
More Gore: Increase the volume of gore visuals.
Massive Damage: Increases damage dealt; no critical hits
Laser focus: reduces spread; improving precision
Full automatic mode: fires bullets continuously when the trigger is pulled

Comments: Board of specialists. Too harmful to opt for access to full board. It is better to choose Massive Damage or Laser Focus. -40% will make the Auto-9 difficult to handle.

Omni Board – Level 4.1
Location: Police station. High-tech briefcase next to the evaluation chair. Optional objective for the mission “Return to the starting point”.

Chipset:

4x weapon damage
2x magazine capacity

Chipset:

2x weapon damage
4x magazine capacity
1x weapon extension
2x reload speed
2x armor piercing
More Gore: Increase the volume of gore visuals.
Single Shot Mode: Fires one round at a time; causes a lot of damage
Doom Doom Rounds: Some rounds can explode causing more damage
Pellet Rounds: Some rounds can split and do more damage at close range.

Comments: One-shot board featuring Doom Doom Rounds. The explosions are a novelty. Inconsistent at best. The main draw here is the high magazine capacity, plus the above-average armor piercing potential.

Omni Plate – Level 5.3
Location: Found in the secret room at the end of the “Who Killed Simon Page” sub-quest.

Chipset:

3x weapon damage
3x magazine capacity
2x weapon spread
2x reload speed
2x armor piercing
-30% penalty (full board access)
Laser focus – reduces dispersion and improves precision
Automatic feeder: automatic ammunition feeder, no need to reload
Full automatic mode: fires bullets continuously when the trigger is pulled
More Gore: Increase the volume of gore visuals.

Comments: Updated Specialist Dashboard. Since Auto Feeder is present, there is no need to invest in reload speed stats. It has the potential to be a good all-rounder even at longer distances if you give up More Gore and fully automatic mode.

Omni Plate – Level 5.1
Location: It is located at the end of the long table inside the OCP conference room. OCP Headquarters when you are about to arrest the Old Man.
Chipset:

5x weapon damage
1x charger capacity
3x Weapon Extension
3x reload speed
Doom Doom Rounds: Some rounds can explode causing more damage
More Gore: Increase the volume of gore visuals.
Automatic feeder: automatic ammunition feeder, no need to reload
Piercer: Armor-piercing bullets improve effectiveness against armored enemies

Comments: The best table in terms of raw damage. The only drawback is that it is ineffective against armored enemies, except for the Piercer chip. Secretly very strong against the final boss by shooting his weak point. (May require high combat skill.)

And that’s it for this PCB board guide for RoboCop Rogue City. The Auto-9 upgrades are an interesting addition to the game. It’s one of the reasons why the gameplay is deeper than you’d expect from a RoboCop game, as I point out in my review.

Star Ocean: The Second R Story

Krosse Cave It is one of the dungeons in Star Ocean: The Second R Story. After meeting Celine in Krosse City and agreeing to help her search for her, the two headed to Krosse Cave in search of some treasure.
Read on as we progress through the events at Krosse Cave. Star Ocean: The Second R Story and shares some tips as well as some useful items that can be found throughout the game.
See previous: Krosse City Walkthrough

As you head to the cave from the city, you will find a chest containing x4 Artemis Leaf along the way. It won’t be long until you reach the cave entrance.
Krosse Cave

The enemies in Krosse Cave are noticeably stronger than those you’ve encountered before, but they reward substantial EXP that can give your characters a boost. Take the time to do some work and get your units to level 12 for the boss fight later.

From the entrance, head to the left side of the fork and then turn left to find a chest containing 1000 Fol. Go back to the fork and continue north until you reach the next right turn, where you will find Blackberries.
Return to the main path and follow it to the east, then take the northeast path to find Blueberries. Continue south, then take the east path at the next fork to find Resurrection Mist and Leather Boots.

Follow the main path again until you reach the enemies guarding. Defeat them and then jump over the ledge to reach the central cavern.
Head to the northwest path to find x5 eggs and dairy. Return to the central cavern, then take the northeast path to the next fork; Take the northwest path.
Each of the paths at the next fork will have chests that will spawn more enemies. Defeat them and you’ll get x2 blackberries on one and x5 silver on the other.

Go back to the previous fork and take the northeast path where you will eventually find two more enemies blocking the path.

At the end of the path, there seems to be a strange rock formation and a dead end. After reviewing the map, Celine believes that she could open a passage with the use of magic. After doing so, feel free to use the save point, as you’ll soon head into another boss fight.

The next room is full of treasure chests, but you’ll soon discover that one of them is just part of a trap.
Boss Fight: Gargoyles

You will fight not one, but two gargoyles. These enemies are a bit tricky as they can fly above the ground, requiring you to use ranged attacks or jump high.

However, they are not much of a challenge as long as you have leveled up your party well. It is recommended to play as Claude, since he has the ability to be agile and can easily withstand aggro from bosses. This way, everyone in your party can launch their own attacks while keeping Rena and Celine safe in the rearguard. In case you lose aggro with any of them, do not approach Claude, but instead have the targeted member guide the boss back to Claude.
After defeating the bosses, you will receive 1000 EXP, 850 Fol, +6 SP and +4BP, as well as a sacrificial doll.
Then you can investigate the Unique place: jade green columns to get 500 EXP and x3 Green Beryl. Additionally, you can check the rest of the chests to get the following items:

walls of the soul
sweet potion
500 followers
wooden shield+
ancient text

The Ancient Text is what Celine is looking for, however, she cannot decipher it and decides to take it home. Before leaving, Claude looks inside the chest and finds an AA device and the Laeticia jewel that unlocks Laeticia’s memory from Star Ocean 6.

Then you’ll get a quick introduction to how the assault action works. These jewels, which hold the memories of past heroes, allow you to summon them in battle once you’ve filled your assault gauge.

Return to the cave entrance, but before you leave, you’ll need to decide if you want to keep Celine in your party as a full-time member. If you accept her and keep her in your party, she will take up one slot in your 8-member party, leaving you with only 5 slots remaining. If you decide to let her go, you won’t be able to recruit her again until you complete another match.
Post Krosse Cave
Once you exit the cave, you will be able to head to your next objective, which is the city of Kurik in the north.
Take the time to detour and check back in the previous towns to find more Private Actions.
– Claude: In the Church, choose “And you, Claude?” (+1FP +1RP Claudio)- Celine: on the east side of the city. (+1FP Celine)- Celine: After witnessing the previous PAs with Celine and Clyde, choose “I will force you to see Clyde.” (+4FP Celine, unlocks special ending for Celine and Rena)- Rena and Celine: On the east side of the city, choose Exit, all other options will be negative.
Kurik is further north from the city of Krosse, so once you’re done in the city, set a course for the next objective. You will pass through other areas, such as the city of Marze, which you will visit later, and areas that have high-level enemies near the entrance to the Mountain Palace. You can try your luck a little here to find some cool items like safety shoes, but it may take a while to be able to keep up with the enemies here.

On the way to Kurik, you will find the Unique place: waterfalls illuminated by the dawn, which will give you 500 EXP and a Perk Card. You can then head to the port city of Kurik, which lies further ahead.

RoboCop: Rogue City – All Choices and Consequences

Picking the Psychology 2 option will have Maurice cooperate with you.

On the Roof with Maurice

Maurice is threatening to jump to avoid arrest. You have to convince him to stand down.

Picking Psychology 2 will have RoboCop convince Maurice that he can find a job in prison and where he’ll be safe. Maurice will decide to cooperate.

“That is no excuse. (Issue a ticket)” – +Uphold the Law Points
“You can go (Issue a warning)” – +Public Trust Points

“It cannot be tolerated. (Issue a ticket)” – +Uphold the Law Points
“I will let it go this time. (Issue a warning)” – +Public Trust Points

“I do not think so. (Issue a ticket)” – +Uphold the Law Points
“I see your point. (Issue a warning)” – +Public Trust Points

Dr. Olivia Blanche Evaluation
If you tell the doctor what name you’d want to be called, she’ll use that name whenever she interacts with you in the future.
How do you perceive yourself?

RoboCop Rogue City Advanced Tips and Tricks

RoboCop Rogue City is the most faithful video game adaptation of the science fiction film series. But it actually goes further when it comes to just misshooting and walking like RoboCop should. The game is actually much deeper than it should be. At least in terms of gameplay.
In this guide, I will tell you some advanced tips that I learned after playing for more than 50 hours. There are some things I expected to happen, but there were some aspects of the game that took me by surprise.

Your Auto-9 pistol has infinite reserves. You can play the entire game without taking out your secondary weapon. But what fun is that?
Ricochet bullets deal an impressive amount of damage. It doesn’t deal as much damage as a critical hit, but it’s the closest thing to a free kill if angled correctly.
In some cases, the armor piercing stat is more valuable than the raw damage stat. This is especially important if you’re looking to stun armored mercenaries and quickly destroy UEDs.

Drywall is easily destroyed. You can take advantage of this to surprise enemies. The same applies to you if they decide to bring out the heavy machine guns.
Partial recharges are faster than full recharges. Half a second longer in most cases, but that’s the difference between being alive or dead in a gunfight. This tip is especially important for advanced assault rifles that will take forever to reload from empty.
The level 2 combat perk called “Reloading Strike” instantly reloads all weapons carried with a successful melee attack. That means you can run up to someone, hit them, and then instantly turn your attention to the next guy you hit with lead.
Passive heals up to 20% of your maximum health. At the highest level of the Vitality skill, you will be able to regenerate up to 75% of your maximum health.
The clearest sign that a motorcycle is about to explode is if the gas tank is spewing flames. If you blow up a motorcycle, the explosion will cause the ones near it to also explode instantly.

The first OCP container you’ll find in the game is in the back of the Chop Shop’s second garage during the Stolen Vehicle side mission. In front of the Valine Auto Parts sign.
OCP containers are randomly assigned each match. You never know what you’ll get. You can have a container with 5 tokens of different shapes and percentages or you can have 1 token with very low stats. Either outcome is very possible.
The values for each upgrade chip are a random number between 11% and 15% initially. Your ENGINEERING level determines the amount at the time of withdrawal. Contrary to what you might think, the ENGINEERING passive does not apply to the chips you currently have. It will only apply to new chips you find at OCP Containers.
I still don’t fully understand how Chip Merge actually works. I mean, I can’t predict what the resulting shape will look like after three chips have been fused together. All I know is that if you place three low level tiles, you can potentially get a tile 3 levels higher than the three you put down. That might have been the point. To get rid of useless chips.

Shockwave, Shield, Dash, Slow Motion, and Ricochet are active skills that have separate buttons and activation conditions.
Maximize deduction skill as quickly as you can. The benefits are too good to pass up. The additional EXP boost you get from Level 10 ‘Improved Learning’ applies to all sources of experience and not just reading books.
While RoboCop won’t be killed easily by small arms fire, if enough enemies shoot at him at once his aim will be completely off. Use the Shield skill to prepare or reposition yourself so you can pick off enemies one by one.

Some boss battles have environmental hazards that can cause heavy damage. Use your scanner to reveal them and you could gain the advantage just by pulling the trigger at the perfect time. (It’s nice when something other than RoboCop gets trapped under rubble at the steel factory.)
Auto-9 chips with infinite ammo and high armor piercing value are a perfect match against bosses like ED-209.
Efficiency challenges are no joke. If you think you’re making headway, a single burst from ED-209 will quickly close the gap. Make sure you are always ahead of the competition. At most allow your competition to distract the enemies while you move forward.

Public trust points are an invisible statistic. You won’t see the results of your efforts (or lack thereof) until the end credits.
Your dialogue decisions have far-reaching consequences that you won’t be aware of at the time you make them. Choose carefully. There are no multiple saves to fall back on.
A high PSYCHOLOGY skill makes a difference in the epilogue of some characters. This is especially true when it comes to Pickles. To get his ‘good ending’, you’ll need a high level of PSYCHOLOGY before doing his ‘Be Kind Rewind’ side quest.
The various objectives of police work are usually quite easy to achieve. It is due to the abundant amount of evidence of the crime at most levels. But that doesn’t apply to the search for Wendell’s Confession at the OCP Correctional Facility. There are strictly 600 tests in total. It is necessary to search every room and every office to obtain the minimum necessary. And you must do it before reaching the point of no return.

There are a couple of things you should know before undertaking the ‘Shady Meeting’ quest. The first thing is that the timer starts the moment you start the level. The second is that the stopwatch keeps running even during Becker’s annoying monologues.
UEDs come from specific containers at a time. You can know which sector they are coming from by listening to the alarm and the direction where it is coming from.
The best ability you can have during this encounter is the level 10 combat perk, ‘Enhanced Shockwave’. If you time it correctly, you can destroy entire groups of UEDs that are in close proximity to each other.
The arena itself is full of useful items to use against them. But I advise you not to pick up the explosives during combat unless you are very confident with them. Instead, pick up explosives and throw them into the room they came from before they start shooting. The rest of the encounter comes down to shooting them in the head to make them malfunction and avoiding shooting their arms at all costs.

This last tip is for the ‘Burning Building’ mission, specifically the optional objective of saving the guy who had lost his cat. I’m not kidding, the first time I played this level, I got frustrated that I couldn’t find his cat. So I figured it was supposed to be later in the mission.
It turns out that the cat was resting on top of the dresser. Why did that cat choose the only place where smoke and fire rise? I don’t know. But in any case, you can find the cat in the bedroom on top of the dresser. You may need night vision to see the little guy. (Kind of sad because I couldn’t save either of them the first time).

And that’s all I have for this advanced tips and tricks guide for RoboCop Rogue City. I hope it has been useful to you in some way. Rogue City was an amazing game and hopefully we’ll see more like it in the future.

Star Ocean: The Second Story R

Star Ocean: The Second Story R is the remake of the 1998 action RPG game which follows the stories of Claude and Rena, two characters whose fates got intertwined due to an unexplained phenomenon. What was simply a recon mission for Claude was a prophecy beginning to come true for Rena as she mistakes him for the Hero of Light. The two then stumble upon something much more sinister that involves the mysterious meteor that crashed onto the planet and brought upon monsters on Rena’s home planet.
Read ahead as we go through the events of the first chapter of Star Ocean: The Second Story R and share some tips as well as some helpful items that can be found throughout the game.

Character Selection

As a new game is started, players will get to choose between the two main characters, Claude C. Kenny and Rena Lanford. Each character will have different strengths, abilities, and specialties.
As for the story, players will get to play through the same general storyline and events regardless of the chosen character. The main difference will be the experience of playing the game from different perspectives, especially since there are some events that can only be experienced through either Rena or Claude.
For those who are only interested in going through the stories of the two main characters, at least two playthroughs of the entire game are needed. However, completionists will definitely require more than a dozen playthroughs to see every iteration of the story and its endings once the other playable side characters, introduced throughout the game, are included in the equation.
After selecting the main character, more customization options can be done, such as:

Renaming the character
Voice Language

Voice Type (Add’l options only available if Japanese has been selected)

Difficulty

Earth (Easy)
Galaxy (Normal, default)
Universe (Hard)

BGM Version

Display Event Art

Once everything has been settled, the game will then show a cutscene of something landing on the planet, followed by the chosen character’s first cutscene.
Claude’s Story

Claude’s story starts off with the same ship that was shown in the title menu’s cutscene. He then recalls the events that his father, Admiral Ronyx, has gone through; these were events that happened in the prequel games, which gives some short backstories for those who are new to the franchise.

They then land on a planet, following the signal that they have received. Led by Ronyx, the ship’s scouting crew then surveys the area. Ronyx then hands over a Phase Gun to Claude which he can then use in later encounters as a special art.
The crew then arrives at the base of the dome in Milokeenia, and then you get control over Claude. You’ll be shown the basic controls as well as the minimap icon legend that will be helpful for navigation.

Approach the panel on the right side, and it will reveal the control panel for the entrance to the dome. Once the entrance is open, continue through the rubble until you reach the mysterious cylinder at the end of the path. Despite being told not to approach it, Claude gets close to the cylinder, which then activates and transports him to someplace else.

Claude then suddenly finds himself in the Sacred Forest. He tries reaching back out to his crew, but he’s unable to. He then sees someone being followed by a monster in the distance, who just happens to be Rena. Claude then goes in to save Rena, which starts a combat encounter.
Rena’s Story

Rena’s story starts off with Rena going outside their house to go back to the Sorcery Globe, but before she can leave, her mother tries to stop her from going. Despite her mother’s warning, Rena sets off.
You’ll then get to control Rena who starts off in her town of Arlia. You’ll be shown the basic controls as well as the minimap icon legend that will be helpful for navigation.
Make your way to the south path to follow the objective, or you can take some time to explore the town and get some items that will be helpful later on.

You can head to the north side near the shop to find some treasure chests, and opening them up will give you 250 Fol, a Leather Armor, and a Resurrection Elixir.
After following the objective, you’ll arrive at the Sacred Forest. The objective is to the east, but take a short detour to find some Fruit Syrup up north.

At the objective, another cutscene will play where Rena gets followed by a monster, but she then gets saved by Claude who easily defeats the monster.
First Combat Encounter

The first encounter against the monster will only be available through Claude’s story, as he will just instantly defeat the monster through Rena’s story.
During this fight, you’ll get a sense of how the combat works, but some of the combat functions won’t be available yet, such as the ones that deal with the party system.
Claude’s normal attacks won’t deal much damage against the monster, so instead you’ll have to use your Phase Gun Special Arts to deal significant damage.
Sacred Forest

After getting rid of the monster, Claude and Rena finally get to talk to one another, but not before Rena makes Claude chase after her. The two then walk back to Arlia, as Rena wanted to pay Claude back for saving her earlier. From this point, the story merges for the next few parts.
Arlia

Back in Arlia, Rena wants to show Claude around the town. Check your minimap to see all the “!” markers that you’ll have to visit. Most of these places have valuable items in chests, so be sure to check them out; as Claude, you can also check the chests at the Arlia Goods to get the same items listed under Rena’s story.
Check these areas for the following items:

Carpenter’s House – Strawberry Jam
Newlywed’s House – Blueberries, Blackberries
Velding Church, third floor – Magic Canvas

Check the waterwheel near the river where you’ll find Unique Spot – Rustic Waterwheel and learn about Unique Spots. When there’s a glowing light on the ground next to a special place, you’ll get more information about the location, plus some items and EXP. Make sure to check this out as you’ll get enough EXP to boost your character from level 1 to level 3 and get an Antidote plus some Resurrection Elixirs.

Once all the other locations have been visited, go to Rena’s house to enter another cutscene. If you’re playing as Claude, you’ll be taken on a tour by Rena around the town. If you play as Rena, you will do the town tour first, then meet Rena’s mom, Westa, and then look around the town for Claude after he steps out; Claude can be found just near the entrance to the town.

Once again, head back to Rena’s house where Westa has already prepared a feast for the two. After dinner, Claude rests up in the guest room. As Rena heads to the mayor’s house, she’ll talk to the mayor to tell him that the “Hero” or Claude, has arrived. As Claude, you can check outside the room where Westa will talk to you.

Rena then comes back home with the Mayor to introduce Claude. The Mayor then proceeds to tell the story about the meteor and the cataclysm it caused. Rena insists that Claude must be the prophesized Hero, to which Claude is still unsure of. The night then continues into the next day.
On the following day, the Mayor will give Claude a Longsword as a weapon. Afterwards, he will tell you about the town of Salva up north. But instead of heading to Salva, go south back to the Sacred Forest, where Rena’s next objective will also be marked.
Sacred Forest

Back in the Sacred Forest, you’ll learn more about encounters, such as the enemy symbols and the different ways of approaching one. Additionally, you’ll learn more about counters and break effects in the next encounters. There’s also a chest southeast of the forest that contains 300 Fol.
As Rena, upon reaching the objective, a cutscene will play concerning Rena’s past and her deceased father. Claude will then arrive to meet up with her again before he leaves to let Rena be alone. As Rena leaves the forest, she meets Allen, her suitor, who forcibly takes her to his mansion in Salva.
World Map

As Claude, you can decide to go meet up with Rena at the forest or skip the entire scene and head up north of Arlia. Doing so will take you to the World Map, which gives you an overworld view of the towns.

You can still encounter enemies while on the World Map, as well as find chests; there’s a chest down southeast of where you are that contains x5 Blueberries. Head to the southwest beach and you’ll find a Talisman.
For now, follow the objective to reach the town of Salva.
Salva

As Rena, you’ll be taken into Allen’s mansion, and after talking to Allen, he will leave you inside your room. Check the chest nearby to get a Talisman. Head downstairs to find another chest inside the dining area that contains a Fried Egg. Afterwards, you can head towards the main door to find that you can’t use it to escape.

Your objective will then be updated to check the study room. Investigate the statue, and the bookshelf nearby will slide away, revealing a secret passage. Rena then meets Bosman, the town’s carpenter. He then talks about the altar and the mysterious stone that Allen has. Bosman then points Rena to head into the Salva Mines for a way to escape.

As Claude, you’ll have the freedom to explore the town of Salva and check out the stores. You can also look for the chests that contain Portrait B. There’s not much else to do in the town yet other than head to the marker to get to Allen’s Mansion.
At this point, Rena is still on her way to the mansion; you can still check the same chests inside the mansion to get the same items. Talk to the butler, and he will tell you that Allen is supervising in the mines.
Head back out of the mansion, and since Claude has no idea where to go next or what happened to Rena, he’ll decide to go back to Arlia. Once you revisit the World Map, you’ll then learn about fast traveling to the towns or places you have been to. Do so to make it back quickly to Arlia.

Once Claude gets back to Arlia, he will learn about Rena’s kidnapping by Allen. Claude then decides to go back to Salva to go save Rena. Head back to the mansion to find out that it has been locked, which forces him to use his phase gun to get in. In turn, this discharges the gun and disables it in the meantime.

In your second visit to the mansion, head to the study to find Rena’s Hairpin. Then, investigate the statue to reveal the secret passageway. After talking to Bosman, you can then proceed into the Salva Mines.

Juant: complete guide and tutorial

Juan is a relaxing climbing and exploration game that follows a boy’s journey as he ascends an incredibly large rock structure known as the Tower. This tower was often submerged in different levels of water, and yet it was once home to people who learned to live during high and low tides. However, the rain suddenly stopped, leading to the titular event that caused everything to dry out.
Read on as we share all the guides we’ve created on how to clear each chapter in Juan.
All Jusant step-by-step guides
There is a total of six chapters in Juan. Each of our walkthroughs lists all the collectibles and trophies that can be obtained along the way. They also include some tips on how to overcome certain sections of climbs and obstacles.

The first chapter introduces the unnamed protagonist known only as the boy, and his mysterious companion, who is later revealed to be a baby burden. The chapter also serves as a tutorial on how climbing mechanics and equipment work.

After activating the first tower and completing the first step of revitalizing the terrain, the child prepares to climb to the next station. Now awake, the baby ballast serves as a companion that can help reveal new paths by emitting echoes that awaken dormant plants that provide a foothold for climbing.

The boy reaches the section of the Tower that receives intense sunlight almost all day long. This adds another challenge, as the child now has to climb faster and more efficiently while managing his resistance along the way.

After activating the huge wheel structure, the boy gets a respite from the sun and now has to continue his climb inside the Tower’s caves. The climb through the cave systems is much more challenging, but apparently the man-made structures within them suggest that previous inhabitants managed to thrive despite this.

With the help of the awakened sparks, the boy managed to reach higher, to the windy parts of the Tower. The treacherous gusts of wind add another layer of difficulty to the climb, as one wrong move could greatly delay the child’s progress.

After activating the large fan at the end of the explored path, one of the last surviving ballasts appeared and offered the boy a ride to the top of the Tower.
