I’ll teach you how to get each new car that came with the Phantom Liberty upgrade.
All Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty Vehicles:
Here are all the new Phantom Liberty vehicles and how to get them:

Archer Quartz “Spectrum”

As one of the new armored cars, the Archer Quartz “Spectre” comes with side machine guns. Its custom engine allows it to speed through any terrain Night City has to offer, making it a practical choice for off-road adventures.

Hellhound

Guy:SUV
How to get the hellhound: Purchase from the Auto Fixer website for 160,000 Swirls. Complete some vehicle contracts for El Capitan until it appears on the site.

The Hellhound is one of the most expensive Phantom Liberty cars added. It is worth the price because it is equipped with machine guns and rocket launchers. This is a vehicle manufactured by Militech, so its armor is difficult to pierce.

Mahir Supron “Trailbruiser”

Guy: Economy
How to get Mahir Supron “Trailbruiser”: Purchase from the Auto Fixer website for 94,000 Swirls. If you don’t see him, do some of El Capitan’s vehicle contracts until he appears.

Another custom of the Mizutani Hozuki line, what makes the Samum worth it is the machine gun and missile launcher attached to it. This vehicle excels at off-road combat, which could actually be considered quite cheap considering the firepower it packs.

Nazare ARCH Malina-Mobile

Guy: Bicycle
How to get to Nazare ARCH Malina-Mobile: Choose the dialogue option to tell Malina to “Tell her she’s your sister” during the “Dazed and Confused” concert. It can be recovered outside the Brainporium as a gift.

One of the only new bikes in Phantom Liberty that you can only get if you chose a certain dialogue option during the Dazed and Confused concert in Dogtown. You’ll unlock this gig by progressing through the DLC’s main story before receiving a text from Mr. Hands about a brain dancing celebrity named Lina.

Outlaw “Weiler”

Guy: hypercar
How to get Outlaw “Weiler”: Make 8 vehicle contracts for El Capitan and complete the “Baby Let Me Take You” concert once he calls you to meet in front of the Arasaka docks.

Quadra Sport R-7 “Charon”

Guy: Sport
How to get Quadra Sport R-7 “Charon”: Complete the “Moving Heat” side concert. You can only unlock this secret mission by listening to the conversation of the people inside the car three times in “I’ve Seen Your Face Before.”

The Quadra Sport R-7 “Charon” comes with a unique feature: the hood of the car turns into holographic flames when driving at a certain speed.

Quadra Sport R-7 “Chiaroscuro”

Guy: Sport
How to get Quadra Sport R-7 “Chiaroscuro”: Purchase from the Auto Fixer website for 81,000 Swirls. Complete some of the contracts for the vehicle before it appears on the site.

Another addition to the Quadra Sport R-7 car collection, the Chiaroscuro is a black version of the Vigilante. It still features an open hood. There’s no real reason to buy it unless you like the aesthetic.

Quadra Sport R-7 “Sterling”

A more elegant and corporeal variant of the new Quadra Sport R-7 muscle cars presented in Phantom Liberty.

Quadra Sport R-7 “Vigilante”

Guy: Sport
How to get Quadra Sport R-7 “Vigilante”: Purchase from the Auto Fixer website for 86,000 Swirls. Or it can be redeemed if you pre-ordered the Phantom Liberty DLC after completing the main story mission “The Heist.”

The Vigilante is a Quadra Sport R-7 variant that features an open hood and a stylish blood red design.

Quadra Type-66 “Hoon”

Guy: Sport
How to get “Hoon” Quadra Type-66: Complete the hidden side quest “I’m in love with my car.” To start the mission, enter a specific warehouse in the Watson district and wait for Johnny to appear.

The Quadra Type-66 “Hoon” is one of the first armored vehicles you can get early in the game. It has dual internal cannons that are placed internally in the vehicle itself.

Quadra Type-66 “Wingate”

Guy: Sport
How to get Quadra Type-66 “Wingate”: Purchase from the Auto Fixer website for 99,000 Swirls.

A variant of the Quadra Type-66, the Wingate comes with a mounted rifle. It can go from 0 to 100 in two seconds. Pity the fools in your sights.

“Terrier” Countercurrent

Guy: Sport
How to get the “Terrier” from Riptide: Purchase from the Auto Fixer website for 108,000 Swirls. If you can’t see him, complete El Capitan’s vehicle contracts until he appears.

The Herrera Riptide “Terrier” is a fast luxury car that travels the roads of Night City. Quality and handling are superior, although it won’t do well off-road.

Tanishi T400

Guy: Economy
How to get Tanishi T400: Complete the mission “Lucrecia, my reflection.”

A fairly simple design for a car, the Tanishi T400 doesn’t have much going for it. It’s also slow and quite simplistic. But hey, it’s practically free.

Thorton Colby BARGHEST

Guy: Economy
How to get Thorton Colby BARGHEST: Purchase from the Auto Fixer website for 29,000 Swirls.

The Thorton Colby BARGHEST is an armored vehicle that sells for little money. However, it’s slow and you’d better save your eddies.

Thorton Galena “Lobster”

Guy: Economy
How to get Thorton Galena’s “lobster”: Purchase from the Auto Fixer website for 60,000 Swirls.

Armed with machine guns and missiles, the Thorton Galena Locust is an affordable war machine.

Thorton Mackinaw “Demiurge”

Guy: Heavy duty
How to get Thorton Mackinaw “Demiurge”: Complete the “Arasaka Tower” minigame from the arcade machine in Protein Farm, Badlands.

The Thorton Mackinaw “Demiurge” is quite difficult to get, as you have to play the Arasaka Tower minigame in Protein Farm, Badlands at precisely 4am When it’s 4am, read all the emails on the computer and then interact with the arcade machine to play Arasaka Tower and obtain the vehicle coordinates. It’s a laborious process, but you get this amazing monster truck at no cost.

Thorton Merrimac “Witcher”

Guy: Economy
How to get Thorton Merrimac “Witcher”: Purchase from Auto Fixer for 43,000 Swirls. Complete some vehicle contracts for El Capitan before he can appear.

The Thorton Merrimac Warlock doesn’t really stand out much from the other Phantom Liberty cars. However, it is easy to handle and has decent armor.

Villefort Alvarado V4FH 570 Herman

Guy: Executive
How to get Villefort Alvarado V4FH 570 Herman: Purchase from the Auto Fixer website for 39,000 Swirls.

Villefort has a reputation for quality vehicles and the Alvarado V4FH 570 Herman looks premium for its low price.

Villefort Deleon “Vindicator”

Guy: Executive
How to get Villefort Deleon’s “Vindicator”: Purchase from the Auto Fixer website for 36,000 Swirls. Complete some vehicle contracts before you can show up.

The Villefort Deleon “Vindicator” is a pretty decent car for its asking price. Villefort is often known for its quality cars and this one is no different.

Latest Lords of the Fallen 1.1.199 Update Patch Notes (PC-Steam)

Hexworks just released the Update 1.1.199 for Lords of the Fallen, which fixes major AMD GPU glitches and revamps multiplayer matchmaking. Let’s delve into the new features and improvements of this revolutionary patch:
Highlights of update 1.1.199:

AMD GPU Crash Fixes: The patch promises significant crash reduction for players using AMD graphics cards by preventing certain shader submissions.
Improved multiplayer matchmaking: A reimagined multiplayer matchmaking system aims to decrease high-ping matchups and “can’t connect” errors.
Orian Protector Review: Temporarily disabled for a review of the more engaging gameplay loop.
The return of crossplay: Once its stability in PvP and PvE is guaranteed, crossplay will be reintroduced.

Detailed patch notes for version 1.1.199:
Arrangement of AMD’s main GPUs

Fixed multiple GPU crashes on AMD cards by skipping Niagara compute shader dispatches when the number of threads exceeds what is supported by the hardware.
This update should resolve most of the bugs reported in Sentry, as more than 30% of them were caused by this problem in the communication between the drivers and DirectX12.

Sentry Reported Issues

Fixed a crash that could occur when interacting with an NPC character, especially when the NPC character’s actor was not ready.
Fixed a crash that could occur when opening the inventory and an item being removed when filtering categories (DLC items that no longer exist in the player’s inventory).
Fixed a crash that occurred when trying to set the description of an item that no longer exists (DLC items that no longer exist in the player’s inventory).
Fixed a crash that occurred when soul skinning certain entities.
Fixed an issue when clearing a C++ timer for fog doors.
Fixed an issue that occurred when trying to determine which ammo slot was selected without having a valid inventory component.
Fixed a very rare crash that could occur when picking up an item if the item disappeared while the montage was playing.
Added a check to ensure we have a player pawn on the client before attempting to disable interactions.
Made sure the payload in the trigger event is correct and otherwise terminated the skill.

Multiplayer setting
After listening to community feedback and observing numerous hours of PvP and PVE matches, we identified certain matchmaking time issues that result in “unable to connect” messages. Additionally, matchmaking at high pings has caused annoying rubber banding. In response, we’ve made several adjustments to the rules we use for player matchmaking. We now prioritize finding players with good ping rather than connecting quickly. As a result, instead of almost instant connections with other players, it may take a few minutes at most, but a better ping connection with the opponent will be established. We believe this will lead to a better overall experience.

Adjusted multiplayer times and pings to prioritize establishing a strong connection between players rather than reducing matchmaking times.
Temporarily disabled the Orian Protector feature to modify it for a more engaging gameplay loop. Previously, Orian Protectors would join an invaded player to help in the fight. However, this caused confusion among players and was reported as a bug several times. We are reviewing this feature to improve its functionality. We plan to reintroduce crossplay to the online experience once we have collected enough data from both PVE and PVP and ensured its stability.

Balance

The price of the Flame Funnel spell in the Remembrance store has been adjusted.
Social Sanctuary objectives are being adjusted based on player progression and predictions.
Fixed purchasable items at shrines missing skipinventory bool set to true.

Game settings

Fixed Soulflay attack to avoid falling off a ledge when stepping back right after using it.
Fixed incorrect player orientation when interacting with NPCs and attempting to move.
Updated the “Recover Vigor” animation to be faster, can be interrupted more quickly, and added invincibility frames (iframes) until Vigor is restored.
Changed the “Empty Sanguinarix” animation to be faster and interruptable sooner.

Collisions

Fixed an issue in farming with Scarlet Shadow where she would fall through the world alone on each spawn. Now, if you let your character farm alone, you may find them dead when you return.
Changed the gameplay sublayer of the invasion area in Fritzroy’s Gorge to avoid rare cases where the invader would appear underground at the start of the invasion.
Previously, players could go out of bounds and fall out of the world at Hallowed Sisters Abbey.

Images

The Scorn effigy’s lower LODs have been adjusted to activate the physics of his clothing.

user interface

The skip cinematic flow has been improved by displaying the required key on the screen when any button is pressed.

This update is a testament to Hexworks’ dedication to improving the Lords of the Fallen gaming experience. Players are recommended to install the update as soon as possible to take full advantage of these advancements.
While the PC Steam community benefits from improvements in patch v.1.1.199, Xbox and PS5 players recently received their own set of updates in patch v.1.1.196, which fixes several game crashes and adjustments. of AI. As usual, community comments is invaluable and continued collaboration will ensure further improvements in the future.

Lords of the Fallen Update Patch v1.1.196 (Xbox, PS5, and Epic)

Hexworks has just released v1.1.196 for Lords of the Fallen, fixing several crashes and a number of bugs and issues for Xbox, PS5, and the Epic Games platform. The patch is now available and was released on October 17, 2023.
This patch (v.1.1.196) is different from the v.1.1.199 patch that was released for PC. It looks like console players will have to wait a bit for the fixes available in PC patch v.1.1.199.
Let’s analyze the new features and improvements of this revolutionary patch:
Update 1.1.196 Reflexes:

Stability: Various accident scenarios have been addressed, including accidents involving specific items, enemy AI movements, particle generation, and more.
AI settings: The aiming capabilities of certain enemies called “snipers” have been revised.
Balance: Status effect resistance rings and runes have been improved. Additionally, the damage of certain weapons has been adjusted.
Mission fixes: Fixed an issue with an NPC and an item sold by a merchant moving.
Other fixes: Various bugs have been fixed, including those related to attack mechanics, camera issues, and text display in multiple languages.

Version 1.1.196 Detailed Patch Notes
Stability

We fixed a crash that could occur when the host was holding a specific item.
We have resolved a crash that could occur when enemy AI moves sideways while aiming at the player.
We fixed a crash that could occur in very specific circumstances when spawning the destructible particles that appear when using a threshold exit point.
Fixed a rare crash that could occur when displaying the tendrils connecting the soul and its victim.
Fixed a crash that could occur when enemies alerted each other to the player’s presence.

AI

The aiming ability of the so-called “snipers” in the pilgrim hanger has been revised. Now they have a good chance of missing their shots after 15 meters.

Balance

After watching players ignore rings and status effect resistance runes, we’ve decided to give them all a notable boost to make them more competitive with other types and make them into some builds.
Slightly improved the second hit damage of Grand Swords’ one-handed forward heavyweights to match their slightly slower animation.

Search

Fixed an NPC corpse being able to be interacted with before meeting the proper quest requirements.
Changed “The Moving Trader” to sell 2 copies of the Slave Hunter’s Dagger, encouraging players to try out the dual-wielding two-knife stance more.

Other fixes

Fixed an issue where attacking enemies from behind would sometimes not apply the bonus damage.
Some throwables have been reviewed to ensure they do not have collision properties with the camera, as this could create unwanted “zoom-ins.”
Fixed text overflow in “Attack Power” for multiple languages: FR, IT, PT-BT and ES.
Fixed a broadcast volume in Fief of the Chill Curse to prevent players like Auteru from falling into the void since the map was not yet loaded.

While these Hexworks updates reflect a proactive approach to perfecting Lords of the Fallen, especially addressing bugs and gameplay mechanics, a vocal segment of the community is still waiting for specific improvements. Among their concerns are performance improvements on consoles, with many users reporting issues related to frame rate and stability, including character level resets, losing progressions, and HUD errors. Additionally, anticipation is palpable for the features and fixes found in the PC patch v.1.1.199 that will be ported to the console versions. Given Hexworks’ track record and commitment to community feedback, it is expected that they will continue to close these gaps, ensuring a universally improved gaming experience across all platforms.

The Master Thief of Anbar Walkthrough

The Master Thief of Anbar is the first mission in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which serves as a tutorial that teaches players the basic controls and mechanics along with an engrossing storyline about the key characters of the game. Inspired by the villain from Valhalla, players get to see the beginnings of Basim Ibn Ishaq as a street thief in Baghdad, offering insight into his motivations and journey to becoming a master assassin.
Read ahead as we go through the events of The Master Thief of Anbar in Assassin’s Creed Mirage and share some tips needed to complete every objective along the way.

The Master Thief of Anbar Walkthrough

Follow Nethal
The mission begins with the protagonist, Basim, awoken from a nightmare and accompanied by Nehal, his companion and oldest friend. Once you gain control of your character, Nehal will exit the hideout, and you’ll be tasked with following her. Before you do, look to your left, then go near the wall-mounted shelf and collect 1 Emerald Ring and 1 Jade Medallion. Once done, proceed to follow Nehal outside.
Follow along the path up ahead until you reach and discover a new location, Anbar, where Nehal comes to stop near a ledge after climbing a set of stairs. The next events will then introduce players with the early game mechanics and basic controls.

In order to continue following Nethal, players need to Freerun across various buildings and platforms. To do this, hold (A on Xbox | X on PS| Space on PC) while moving, and Basim will automatically jump across, climb, or swing through platforms. Once you familiarize these controls, parkour with Nethal until you reach the market area.
You’ll eventually stop at a rooftop and trigger a short cutscene over Basim’s fixation on the Hidden Ones. After the conversation, follow Nehal by climbing down the ledge, hold (B on Xbox | O on PS| C on PC) while moving, and blend into the crowd. The next objective will then introduce players with the game’s pickpocketing mechanics.
Steal and Pickpocket Merchants
Initially steal a pouch off a nearby table, and then move on to the pouches hanging from the waist of specific NPCs (merchants).

To find pouches that you can pickpocket, first you must use Eagle Vision (press LEFT on D-PAD or V on PC). This highlights key objects and people within your vicinity and saves you some trouble finding things. Allies are highlighted in blue, enemies in red, and as for the pouches, they show as orange on my end.
Stealing pouches from tables can be as easy as collecting it by holding (Y on Xbox | Triangle on PS| E on PC), then slowly walking away without being noticed. But stealing from NPCs or merchants requires additional tasks to be done.

Go near a merchant with a pouch on their waist, press and hold (Y on Xbox | Triangle on PS| E on PC) to pickpocket. Once a blue diamond appears on the screen, you’ll want to wait until the white diamond outline merges with it before pressing the button again. If you time it correctly, a yellow diamond will appear upon doing a successful pickpocket action.
Meet with Dervis

After stealing the pouch of the woman merchant, retun to Nehal and decide to meet with Dervis. Climb on top of the pile of objects next to Nehal, then travel across the rooftops to the quest marker. You’ll encounter a variety of new obstacle platforms, such as ziplines, pole vaults, and haystacks, that can eventually be used to roam across the map.

Once you arrive at Dervis’ location, there’s a bunch of kids and other NPCs you can optionally interact with. Proceed through the doorway with a quest icon, where you’ll find Dervis. During the cutscene, Dervis gives Basim a new job for the Hidden Ones, which involves stealing a ledger.
Steal a Ledger
After the cutscene, head to the harbor where the ledger is located. The next events will teach players how to use the game’s stealth mechanics.

When you get there, you’ll discover that the area is completely surrounded by Caliph’s Guards. So, the best approach for completing the objective is to avoid detection. Eventually, you’ll be introduced to two new features, Detection and Eliminating Enemies.
Detection shows a meter above Basim when an enemy has sensed your location. Simply crouch by pressing (B on Xbox | O on PS| C on PC) on tall grasses to hide from detection. You can then eliminate enemies by pressing (RB on Xbox | R1 on PS| F on PC). You can do this undetected.

Take out the first guard by the entrance, then proceed to your left and take out the guard looking at the docks. Carry his body onto the tall grass afterwards to avoid suspicion. Once done. Go up the ramp that leads up to a ladder where you can climb. This takes you to the rooftop of the room containing the ledger. As you go down and try to get inside, you’ll see that the door is locked and needs a specific key to open it.

Use Eagle Vision to highlight the guard who holds the key, which can be found on the next building. From the locked door, head down the stairs and move past the guard sitting on a chair in the middle. Crouch in the tall grass ahead, then use Whistle (press RIGHT on D-PAD or X on PC) to distract and take down the guard standing on the doorway.

Head inside the doorway with a torch, then turn left to find a ladder that you can climb. There’s a chest at the back of the ladder that you can loot for Dirham and other materials. Once on the second floor of the building, silently take out the guard with a spear on his back to obtain the Harbor Warehouse Key. You can open up or unbar windows and doors to access shortcuts for a quicker escape route.

With the key on hand, use it to open the locked door from before and steal the ledger sitting on top of a table. You can also find another loot chest hidden beside the table to the right. Once done, return to Drevis and trigger a cutscene that introduces Roshan, character that’s part of the Hidden Ones.
Infiltrate the Winter Palace
Despite Nehal’s disagreement with Basim’s ultimate intention to become part of the Hidden Ones, she agrees to assist him in retrieving a chest that holds something of value.

Simply follow Nehal as she navigates the path that eventually leads to The Winter Palace. Following the cutscene, players will have a choice between two routes into the Winter Palace. They can either follow Nehal who knows a way inside or investigate the area to find another entrance. To get the objective done quickly and efficiently, just follow Nehal’s lead.
Follow Nehal for a way in

If you choose to follow Nehal, you’ll head down from the rooftop you came on, across to the royal grounds, through the long grass surrounding the area. Then, move past the NPCs and down to a door on the ground floor. This is the ideal stealthy route from which you can learn, as Nehal will make room for both of you to quickly move past patrols as safely as possible.
The door will be locked upon arriving at the location, and you need to obtain a specific key to open it.
Steal the Winter Palace key from the guard

Use Eagle Vision once again to identify and highlight the palace guard that holds the key. The guard you’re aiming for is patrolling near the fountain. Wait for the other 3 patrol guards to move away from a certain distance, then use the tall grass and flowers to go near the guard holding the key. You can either take him down or simply do a successful pickpocket action to obtain the Winter Palace key without killing the guard.
Once you have the key, stealthily head back to where Nehal is and open the locked door. In a following cutscene, Basim and Nehal listen in on a conversation between the Caliph and masked figures belonging to the Order of the Ancients.
Steal the contents from the Black Chest

Follow Nehal and sneak past the remaining guards all the way into the room where the chest is located. The near-end of the cutscene shows Nehal stabbing the Caliph on the neck to save Basim’s life.
Escape the Palace

Following the cutscene, you’ll be in for a chase with your life at risk. Hold (LS on Xbox | L3 on PS| Shift on PC) while moving forward to sprint. As soon as you leave the caliph’s room, start sprinting and jump over the fountain statues to fend off the guards. Then, utilize Freerunning on platforms to slip past the guards on the street and proceed directly into the quest marker without turning around.
Return to the Hideout

Leaving the palace, You can avoid the guards waiting on your right if you jump on the crates, then use the long rope to zip across to the other side. Proceed along the trail until you reach the streets outside. You can break the line of sight by scaling the buildings to your left and then escaping down the neighboring alleys.

You’ll eventually arrive at the hideout, where you woke up from the nightmare at the start. In the following events, Basim is woken up by Roshan, who tells him he has another shot at living. He had been advised to head to the western docks to catch a boat out of town. But before he leaves, Basim resolves to warn Dervis along with his other friends.
Warn Dervis and the Others

As you get out from the hideout, you’ll be greeted with guards if you continue to run along the streets. Instead, Climb the wall to your left and run across the rooftops to avoid being detected.

Once Basim reaches the docks, another cutscene will play, showing the guards catching up to him and preparing to execute him. He is saved in the nick of time by Roshan, and the two of them decide to move up in a neighboring tower. They managed to dive into the depths of the ocean and escape the pursuing guards. But Basim blacks out after an accidental plunge, bringing an end to the Master Thief of Anbar mission.

Address console concerns and AMD GPU issues

Hexworks, the development studio behind the popular game Lords of the Fallen, is on a mission to improve the gaming experience on all platforms. In short order, they released two vital patches: v.1.1.196 aimed at Xbox, PS5, and Epic, and v.1.1.199 primarily for PCs with AMD GPUs.
Update v.1.1.199 PC-Steam Highlights: (see full patch notes)

AMD GPU crashes: Gamers with AMD graphics cards can expect stability. The update handles Niagara compute shader shipments to prevent hardware overload, potentially fixing over 30% of bugs reported through Sentry.
Multiplayer matchmaking: Gone are the days of endless “can’t connect” errors and frustrating high-ping clashes. Although pairing may take a little longer, the result promises stable sessions and better ping times.
Orian Protector Reviews: Hexworks has temporarily disabled the Orian Protector feature, which is often mistaken for a bug, in order to improve clarity and functionality.
The return of crossplay: Previously stopped, crossplay is on Hexworks’ radar for reintroduction, ensuring stable PvP and PvE experiences.
Game improvements: This patch sheds light on game balance, animations, and bug fixes. It also aims to renew the efficiency of items and spells, enriching the combat dynamics.

Update v.1.1.196 for Xbox, PS5 and Epic: (see full patch notes)

Stability measures: Various crash scenarios have been resolved, often tied to specific items, enemy AI, and particle generation.
AI and gameplay adjustments: From adjusting the aiming of so-called “snipers” to fixing bugs related to attack mechanics, the patch ensures an optimized gaming experience for console players.
Search and balance: Modifications to quest requirements, item sales, and damage adjustments are some examples of improvements.
Noticeably absent: Unlike the PC patch v.1.1.199, this update lacks specific fixes. Console players may have to wait a little longer to experience adjustments like shortened Sanguinarix and stamina recovery animations.

The two patches demonstrate Hexworks’ commitment to perfecting the game. With Lords of the Fallen receiving continued support, the future of the gaming community looks bright.
As always, the studio welcomes player feedback through the in-game Sentry Reporting Tool, bridging that relationship between the developers and the gaming community.

But while there are some highs, there are also some lows that didn’t excite me when I experienced the game myself.First things first, the actual combat generally remains the same here, and I’d argue that if you wholeheartedly enjoyed the previous title, chances are you’ll want the polish and touch-ups here. Other than that, you won’t notice much difference. And there. What I personally like is the addition. L1 And R1 Being a gateway to both Spider-Man Gadgets and skills. Now, I know you can quickly complete them with no interruptions, but the problem was that they broke the pace of the game in an unconventional way and just felt overly repetitive. While in MJ’s stealth sections Spider-Man 2 Feels better, I can’t help but shake the feeling that these were somewhat unnecessary here after the initial reaction.Overall though, Spider-Man 2 The gameplay does an exceptional job of delivering a rich gameplay experience, borrowing the foundations of previous entries and kicking them up a notch. Best Warhammer 40K games ranked

Finding the best Warhammer 40K games that truly encapsulate the essence, ethos, and expansive lore of the universe can be a quest in itself. You’re probably wondering: Which game can serve as your portal into comprehending and immersing into the universe’s expansive lore, offering not just thrilling gameplay but also a “true Warhammer experience” in its vast, darkly compelling cosmos?
Some entries on this top Warhammer 40K Games list are based on series. I believe it is essential for a layered franchise like Warhammer 40K for players to play the full series to see all the unfolding stories, changing gameplay, and growing lore across different titles and game modes. It offers a full view of the in-game worlds and alliances, giving a deep and connected journey where every part of the Warhammer 40K universe can be fully enjoyed and understood.
I have handpicked and ranked the Best Warhammer 40K Games of all time below:
1. Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War Series

Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War (2004)
Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War II (2009)
Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War III (2017)

The Dawn of War series combines real-time strategy with Warhammer 40K’s lore, earning its place at the top of my Warhammer 40K games list. Set in the grimdark universe of Warhammer 40K, Dawn of War perfectly captured the essence of a universe perpetually at war. The thrill of leading the Emperor’s Space Marines into battle against the treacherous forces of Chaos, or commanding the relentless Ork WAAAGH! was a gaming experience unlike any other.
Playing through the Dawn of War series, I appreciated its strategic depth and the capability to command Warhammer armies. Decisions carried weight, victories felt hard-earned, and losses were deeply felt. The balance between managing resources and expanding territories provided an engaging and challenging gameplay, in line with the 40K universe’s war scenarios. It also had numerous expansions where Dawn of War: Soulstorm was a pivotal experience for me with the introduction of air units adding an extra layer of tactical depth, as I found myself navigating new challenges and considering aerial capabilities in my battle strategies. The tension, the drama, and the sheer exhilaration of warfare in the 41st millennium are why Dawn of War holds a cherished spot in my heart as one of the finest Warhammer experiences available.
2. Total War: Warhammer Series

Total War: Warhammer (2016)
Total War: Warhammer II (2017)
Total War: Warhammer III (2022)

When I first delved into the Total War: Warhammer series, I was taken aback by the sheer scale and detail of its world. Not only did it provide the tactical depth that Total War games are renowned for, but it also flawlessly integrated the rich lore of the Warhammer universe. The landscapes, whether they were the snow-covered peaks of Norsca or the sprawling forests of Athel Loren, were mesmerizing. Every battlefield felt like a page ripped straight out of a Warhammer artbook.
But it wasn’t just the aesthetics, the gameplay was a masterclass in strategy. Managing vast empires, forging uneasy alliances, and partaking in grand battles with iconic Warhammer units was a gamer’s dream come true. The series’ DLCs, like the Ogre Kingdoms and Shadows of Change, further enriched the experience by introducing new races, mechanics, and story arcs, ensuring the game remained fresh and exciting. But perhaps what made the Total War: Warhammer series stand out most for me was its ability to bring stories to life, which makes it my second-best in the series. Every campaign, every battle, had its own narrative. Whether it was a desperate defense against rampaging Beastmen or the political intrigue of the Vampire Counts, I felt a personal connection and investment in the fates of my virtual armies.
3. Warhammer 40K: Mechanicus (2018)

Diving into Warhammer 40K: Mechanicus was a delightful surprise. Here was a game that provided a unique perspective into the Warhammer 40K universe, placing us at the helm of the Adeptus Mechanicus – the tech-priests of Mars, guardians of the Imperium’s knowledge and technology. Immediately, it felt like uncharted territory; we weren’t just Space Marines or the Imperium’s standard forces. We were the lorekeepers, the scientists, the ones who chant in binary and venerate the Machine God.
Mechanicus has a deep strategic layer that beckoned me to dive deeper with every mission. The turn-based combat required thoughtful planning, with every decision echoing the weight of the Adeptus Mechanicus’ sacred duty. Each upgrade, every piece of recovered archaeotech, felt like uncovering ancient relics, pivotal to the survival and supremacy of the Imperium. The atmospheric soundscapes and haunting Gregorian chants truly amplified the experience, immersing me in the cold, calculated world of the Mechanicus. The narrative choices were more than just routes to different endings; they were moral and philosophical dilemmas, challenging my understanding of humanity, machines, and the fine line between the two.
4. Battlefleet Gothic Armada series

Battlefleet Gothic Armada (2016)
Battlefleet Gothic Armada 2 (2019)

The Battlefleet Gothic: Armada series swept me into the vast void of Warhammer 40K’s cosmos, where colossal ships clashing amid stars became my battlefield. The hauntingly detailed visuals and ship-to-ship combat captured the true essence of 40K’s space warfare, with every skirmish an intense tactical puzzle. Every faction felt authentically represented, capturing their unique playstyles and abilities, while also intertwining them with Warhammer’s rich lore.
Engaging in those grand space battles, maneuvering immense cruisers and issuing strike orders, felt both overwhelming and exhilarating. Each victory wasn’t just a testament to strategic prowess, but also a deeper plunge into the universe’s underlying political and military complexities. Battlefleet Gothic: Armada wasn’t just about warfare, it was a masterful representation of the challenges and choices leaders face in the vastness of space.
5. Warhammer 40K: Boltgun (2023)

Warhammer 40K: Boltgun is a dynamic first-person shooter that seamlessly blends classic boomer shooter elements with modern gaming mechanics. Players assume the role of Malum Caedo, an Ultramarine, thrust into intense battles against a myriad of foes. With an arsenal that ranges from the Chainsword to the titular Boltgun, the game ensures thrilling combats across diverse landscapes, from gothic structures to desolate deserts. Rahul Kohli’s voiceover brings depth to Malum’s character, adding layers to the already immersive gameplay. Gothic settings, intricate environments, and a rich array of weapons make Boltgun a must-play for both Warhammer enthusiasts and FPS lovers.
6. Warhammer 40K: Space Marine (2011)

Stepping into the ceramite boots of a Space Marine in Warhammer 40K: Space Marine, a third-person shooter hack-n-slash, is a visceral thrill. But this only comes in second to Warhammer 40K: Boltgun. What makes “Space Marine” particularly unique in this game is its masterful blend of melee and ranged combat mechanics, capturing the raw power and discipline of a Space Marine. From wielding the iconic chainsword in close quarters to tactically using the bolter for ranged encounters, every moment in battle feels consequential.
7. Warhammer 40K: Battlesector (2021)

Warhammer 40K: Battlesector dives deep into the aftermath of the Devastation of Baal, the game pits the iconic Blood Angels chapter against the menacing Tyranid threat. The Blood Angels, haunted by the Black Rage, are brought to life through intricate tactical decisions and unit management, emphasizing the importance of each unit type and their unique abilities. Every battle in Battlesector is of careful planning and decisive action. Beyond its meticulous combat mechanics, the game also excels in encapsulating the rich lore of the 40K universe.
8. Warhammer 40K: Darktide

Warhammer 40K: Darktide transports players into the heart of the 41st Millennium. Set in the hive city of Tertium, players and their squad are pitted against hordes of heretical cultists and the lurking darkness of Chaos. Each mission becomes a test of teamwork, skill, and strategic decisions as players navigate the hive’s grim underbelly. Darktide brilliantly fuses the thrill of FPS mechanics with the ominous and intricate narratives Warhammer 40K is renowned for, making it a journey both haunting and memorable.
9. Space Hulk: Tactics (2018)

Space Hulk: Tactics is a great adaptation of the classic Space Hulk board game, tailored for those who have a penchant for tactical challenges. Set in the sprawling corridors of derelict starships, the game pitches the stalwart Blood Angels against the malevolent Genestealers. The dual campaigns, one for the Space Marines and the other for the Genestealers, offer a comprehensive exploration of the Warhammer 40K lore. The card system stands out as a faithful rendition of its board game counterpart, offering a deep, engaging, and challenging Warhammer 40K experience.
10. Space Hulk: Deathwing (2016)

Space Hulk: Deathwing provides a thrilling dive into the claustrophobic and treacherous labyrinths of ancient, derelict starships known as Space Hulks. This first-person shooter puts players in the armored boots of a Librarian from the Dark Angels’ secretive Deathwing company. Encountering hordes of Genestealers lurking in the dimly lit corridors is both exhilarating and terrifying. The experience of pushing forward with your Terminator squad, weapons blazing, while unraveling the mysteries of the Space Hulk, is immensely rewarding. The various weaponry and psychic abilities available further offer depth to combat strategies.
11. Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor – Martyr (2018)

Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor – Martyr lets you take on the role of an Inquisitor, the powerful and feared secret agents of the Imperium, players get a palpable feel of the weight of duty, the power, and the moral complexity inherent to this role. Set within the Caligari Sector, this action RPG offers a unique opportunity to explore various worlds, from war-torn battlefields to corrupted hive cities, in pursuit of heresy. The narrative is intricate, delving into the political and religious intricacies of the Warhammer 40K universe, and the gameplay mechanics, with a multitude of skill trees and customization options, cater to a diverse range of playstyles. Additionally, the game’s vast open-world structure, filled with side missions, random encounters, and hidden secrets, lends a sense of genuine exploration to the Caligari Sector.
12. Warhammer 40K: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters (2022)

Jumping into Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters felt like a breath of fresh, albeit grim, air in the turn-based strategy genre. Playing as the fabled Grey Knights gave a palpable sense of pride, given their storied history of facing down the vilest of Warp entities. Each battle was more than just moving pieces on a board; it was about holding the line against chaos and truly feeling the weight of every decision. The skirmishes were intense. The storyline, while deeply rooted in the vast Warhammer 40K lore, had its unique twists and turns that kept me on the edge. Especially for newcomers looking for a rich tactical experience, Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters proves to be a standout title.
13. Necromunda: Underhive Wars (2020)

Diving into the depths of the Underhive in Necromunda: Underhive Wars was an experience akin to unraveling a gritty tapestry of gang warfare and survival. The maze-like sprawl beneath a mega-city setting, set the tone for the tactical skirmishes that ensued. Controlling one of the iconic gangs, each battle became a dance of strategy and wit, set against a backdrop of industrial decay. Every corner held potential danger, every decision had consequences, making the gameplay both exhilarating and nerve-wracking.
14. Necromunda: Hired Gun (2021)

Necromunda: Hired Gun felt like a wild rollercoaster ride through the seedy underbelly of the 40K universe. As a hired gun in the lawless depths of Necromunda, every mission was a high-octane adventure, punctuated by gunfights and a pulsating soundtrack. The feeling of agility, coupled with the frenetic combat pace, kept me constantly on my toes, reminding me that in the Underhive, survival isn’t guaranteed – it’s earned. The companionship of my cyber-mastiff and the ability to upgrade and customize my arsenal added layers to the experience.
15. Warhammer 40K: Dakka Squadron (2020)

Warhammer 40K: Dakka Squadron was akin to experiencing the exhilarating chaos of Ork aerial combat firsthand. Taking control of an Ork Flyboy and soaring through the skies of the 40K universe, every skirmish was a testament to the unpredictable and boisterous nature of the Orks. The game’s arcade-style flight mechanics, paired with the signature Orkish humor, made each sortie a memorable clash. Beyond the dogfights, the joy of customizing and upgrading my aircraft with more “dakka” gave a sense of personal touch to my airborne mayhem.
16. Dawn of War II: Retribution – The Last Stand (2011)

Dawn of War II: Retribution – The Last Stand holds a special place in my heart, serving as a vivid reminder of the thrills that come with holding the line against insurmountable odds. This wave-based survival mode extended the depth of the Dawn of War II experience, bringing heroes from different factions into a cooperative battle arena. Teaming up with other players and selecting my preferred hero exemplifies the camaraderie, making it an unforgettable slice of the Dawn of War II pie.
17. Warhammer 40K: Fire Warrior (2003)

Warhammer 40K: Fire Warrior was one of my earlier forays into the 40K universe Through the eyes of a young Tau Fire Warrior, the game plunges you into a single day that feels like an eternity, filled with battles against the Imperium’s forces. This first-person shooter took me by surprise, as it was an unexpected shift from the typical strategy-oriented Warhammer games I was accustomed to. While it might not be the most polished among the Warhammer games, Fire Warrior holds a nostalgic charm, reminding me of the franchise’s ability to venture into various genres successfully.
18. Warhammer 40K: Chaos Gate (2022)

Warhammer 40K: Chaos Gate, centered around the iconic Grey Knights, the game offers players a front-row seat to their intense battles against the sinister forces of Chaos. Although not so unique, but the strategic layers of this game, combined with its rich narrative, create an experience that feels both grand and deeply personal. The sense of camaraderie built with your squad, the weight of every decision, and the palpable tension of every battle made Chaos Gate an indelible mark in my Warhammer journey.
19. Warhammer 40K: Final Liberation (1997)

Final Liberation, released back in 1997, remains one of the hallmark titles for any Warhammer 40K aficionado. As one of the earlier video game adaptations of the vast Warhammer universe, it transported players to the war-torn world of Volistad, setting the stage for epic, hex-based tactical battles against the Ork menace. Nostalgia washes over me as I remember the pixelated sprites and cinematic cutscenes, which, for their time, were groundbreaking. Beyond its visuals, the game’s intricate strategies and its faithful representation of the 40K tabletop mechanics truly made it a standout. Delving into Final Liberation was akin to stepping into a time capsule of 40K history, a significant reminder of how far Warhammer video games have come.
20. Warhammer 40K: Shootas, Blood and Teef (2022)

Shootas, Blood and Teef was like embarking on a riotous rampage with the notorious Orks at the forefront, this game offered a delightful departure from the typical grimdark atmosphere, infusing an infectious sense of mayhem and chaos into every mission. Charging headfirst as an Ork warboss, smashing through foes with reckless abandon, it’s amusing. The game’s comic-style visuals perfectly complemented its tone, capturing the Orks’ raucous nature. Yet, beneath its rollicking surface, there lay a well-crafted action platformer that highlighted the sheer unbridled joy of being one of Warhammer 40K’s most boisterous factions. Shootas, Blood and Teef was not just a game, it was an Orky fiesta, and a splendid addition to the 40K roster, hence deserving of a spot in my top 20 best Warhammer 40K games of all time.
