CLIMATE CHANGE AND THE KYOTO PROTOCOL

INTRODUCTION

climate change graph

Climate change is evident to all of us. It is a global problem affecting all countries. We notice the growing increase of earth’s surface temperature, the growing level of sea water, the increased intensity and frequency of hurricanes and typhoons, and the increasing evidence on ozone layer depletion. There is a growing consensus among scientists that this change is attributable to human activities.

According to the 2nd report of the International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) issued in 1995 “the balance of evidence” pointed to a “discemable human influence on the global climate system”, and that the accumulations of greenhouse gases are behind the marked global warning trend of the past 20 years.

While greenhouse gases (GHGs) form naturally, many human activities add additional GHGs to the atmosphere. Heating and cooling buildings, using energy at home and work, driving vehicles to move people and goods, powering industrial processes – most things we do that consume energy contribute to the problem. Radiation from the sun enters the earth’s atmosphere, and GHGs act like a greenhouse’s glass to block this heat from escaping back to space. There is a direct link between rising atmospheric GHG concentrations, particularly carbon dioxide (C02), global warming and more frequent extreme weather events. In Egypt, climate change will affect farming, fishing, lakes, and coastal communities.

Emission rates for the most important anthropogenic greenhouse gas, CO2, have risen 120- fold in the past 150 years*. Whereas in the 19th century emissions were overwhelmingly from deforestation and other land use changes, they are now predominantly from burning fossil fuels. A direct product of industrialization, emissions now amount to 6 billion tons of carbon a year, or around 1 ton of carbon per head of the world’s population. But emissions are very uneven. Per-capital North American emissions are 18 times those of Africa, nine times those of Asia and 2.3 times those of Europe . Low gasoline prices and the pervasive automobile culture in the United States ensure that its CO2 output, already the highest in the world, is continuing to rise, while levels in much of Europe are stable or falling.

Unless the world curbs growing C02 output, concentrations in the air are likely to double from pre-industrial levels by 2080, and may warm the world by 3oC. Climate models predict that land areas will warm twice as much as the oceans; high latitudes will warm more quickly in winter; and there will be substantial changes in precipitation, especially in the tropics.

EFFECTS OF GLOBAL WARMING

effect of global warming on weather

Effect on Weather:

• Destabilization of local climate – increased variation in river flows, disappearance of lakes and small in-land seas.

• More extreme weather – evidence on increase in storm strength, hurricanes, tsunamis.

• Cost of catastrophic weather event increased from 2 k$ in 1950 to 40 kS in 2000 .

Effect on Oceans:

• Retreat of the glaciers and polar ice caps by 45% from 1880 and observed sea level rise

• Increase of sea water temperature

• Acidification of ocean water due to absorption of increased C02.

Effect on Ecosystem:

Rising temperatures are beginning to impact on ecosystems. Butterflies have shifted their ranges northward by 200 km in Europe and North America. Plants lag behind, and larger animals’ migration is slowed down by cities and highways.

Effect on Forest:

Forests potentially face an increased risk of forest fires. The 10-year average of boreal forest burned in North America, after several decades of around 10,000 km*, has increased steadily since 1970 to more than 28,000 km2 annually.

Consequences of Climate Change

These (among others) include:

  • Desertification
  • Decline of agriculture
  • Water scarcity
  • Rood mitigation
  • Population migration
  • Spread of diseases
  • Direct effects on health

Impact of Climate Change on Egypt

• Given Egypt’s growing population (84.4M in 2015 and 113.8M in 2050), its limited fertile land, its large area of desert, and presence of sizeable economic activities in the coastal zones, the potential social and economic impact of climate change could be devastating for die country’s future.”

• According to M. El-Raey estimates (1995) a 0.5 m sea level rise would cause migration of more than 2.0 million people, loss of more than 214,000 jobs and a value loss of more than $40.0 billion, mainly in Alexandria Govemorate and other coastal regions”.

• An independent assessment of Integrated Climate Change Impacts on Egypt” (1995) provided the following data:

– Temp, increase: +4eC for Cairo, + 3.r-4.7°C for rest

-Water/cap.: 1990:1005 m 3,2060:452 m 3 (World Bank)

– Agriculture: decline of self-sufficiency: 60% to 10%,

Global Impacts of Climate Change

1. Climate change impacts may challenge the survival of human beings and are a challenge to human security.

2. Climate change impacts will contribute to environmental stress and become a potential cause of conflict constellations.

3. Climate change impacts force human beings to leave their rural home for the next major city (urbanization) or to take refuge in a neighbouring country or overseas (migration).

4. Climate change impacts pose severe challenges for countries with most severe effects of sea level rise in delta areas but also by complex interactions of increasing temperature and declining precipitation in arid- and semi-arid regions.

5. Climate change impacts may contribute to escalation of social, ethnic or religious tension that may erupt in violent riots or result in domestic civil strife or civil war

6. Climate change Impacts and disputes on scarce resources – access to water or country crossing aquifers – may contribute to bilateral or regional non-violent or violent conflicts.

7. Climate change impacts and international environmental refugees may lead to international tensions on migration, on admission of refugees in neighbouring or in industrialized countries and on treatment of immigrant communities

8. The mitigation of challenges posed by the impact of climate change requires bilateral or multilateral international cooperation, support for adaptive capabilities and a massive technology transfer.

History of the Kyoto Protocol

kyoto protocol

1972 – 1st Earth Summit in Stockholm, Sweden

Here, the world leaders announced their intention to hold a gathering every ten years to determine the health of the planet.

1982 -Earth Summit in Nairobi, Kenya (Failed)

At the height of the Cold War, this summit failed to reach any significant agreements. It is not considered an official Earth Summit.

1988- The International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).

Created by the United Nations, the IPCC brought together scientists from the world’s governments. During the 1980s, discussion about climate change focused on whether the world was warming or cooling and the formation of the IPCC marked an important step towards finding scientific answers.

1988 – Toronto Conference on the Changing Atmosphere

One of the world’s first major scientific conferences on climate change. It called for a 20% cut to 1988 greenhouse gas emissions by 2005 and called the effect of climate change, “second only to global nuclear war”.

1990 – The first report of the International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)

Released 2 years after its formation. According to IPCC, it had reason to believe that: 1- the planet was wanning 2- human activity was causing it The Panel also said: given existing models and science, IPCC would need more time to be certain

1992 – 2nd Earth Summit, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

The largest gathering of world leaders ever, the Earth Summit created the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), also known as the Rio Convention. This convention adopted on May 9,1992 called on the world to stabilize 1990 greenhouse gas emissions by 2000.

1995 – Conference of Parties I in Berlin, Germany

Each year, the countries that ratified the Rio Convention held a Conference of Parties (COP). The first of these happened in 1995 and reviewed the adequacy of the Rio Convention’s goal of stabilizing greenhouse gas emissions.

1995 – The second report of the IPCC

Five years after saying it needed more science to be certain, the IPCC released its second report saying “the balance of evidence” pointed to a “discemable human influence on the global climate system”.

1996 – Conference of Parties II (COP II) in Geneva, Switzerland

In the first meeting after the IPCC’s second report, the countries belonging to the Rio Convention said, “climate change represented a danger to humanity”.

1997 – Conference of Parties III in Kyoto, Japan

After reviewing the original targets of the Rio Convention and finding them to be too weak, the countries came up with new targets. Now, 1990 greenhouse gas emissions would be cut by 5% between 2008 and 2012.

• Though 5% is a global target, different countries have different targets. The European Union’s target is a 8% cut (Germany committed to a 25% cut and the U.K. to 15%). The United States had a target of 7%, while Canada has a target of 6%.

• The Kyoto Protocol is an amendment to the UNFCCC. It was adopted on December 11,1997, opened to signature for one year on March 16,1998. 84 countries signed the protocol during that period including the United States.

1998 – Conference of the Parties IV, Buenos Aires, Argentina

Here, the Buenos Aires Plan of Action was developed to decide how the Kyoto mechanism (emissions trading, carbon sinks, clean development in the developing world, etc.) would be implemented. The countries agreed the mechanism through which targets would be achieved would be finalized by COP VI, or by 2000.

1999 – COP V in Bonn, Germany

Lengthy, arduous, and complex negotiations on the mechanisms

2000 – COP VI in The Hague, Netherlands

Was the deadline the countries gave themselves in Buenos Aries to develop a way to cut emissions as outlined in the Kyoto Protocol. The meeting failed, largely because of disagreement between the European Union and the US relating to the role of the so called ‘flexibility mechanisms’. A subsequent meeting held in Ottawa also failed due to deep policy gap.

2001 March Withdrawal of the United States from the Protocol.

2001-2002 – COP VI Part 2 in Bonn, COP VII in Marrakesh

Broad agreement was reached on outstanding issues between the remaining Parties at COP7 enabling the Protocol to move towards possible ratification. 180 countries (that is, the whole world except for the United States and Australia) agreed to the rules for implementing the Kyoto Protocol.

2002 – December: Canada ratifies the Kyoto Protocol

Canada ratified the Kyoto protocol, committing to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions to 6 percent below 1990 levels by 2008-2012.

2004 – November: Russia Ratifies the Kyoto Protocol

For the protocol to go into effect, it must be ratified by the countries who together are responsible for at least 55% of 1990 global greenhouse gas emissions. This milestone was reached once Russia ratified the agreement on November 18.

2005 – February: the Kyoto Protocol goes into effect

The Kyoto Protocol automatically goes into effect 90 days after enough countries have signed, making February 16, 2005 the first day the agreement comes into effect.

Briefing the Kyoto Protocol

The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change

• The Convention on Climate Change sets an overall framework for intergovernmental efforts to tackle the challenge posed by climate change. It recognizes that the climate system is a shared resource whose stability can be affected by industrial and other emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases.

Under the Convention governments:

• Gather and share information on greenhouse gas emissions, national policies and best practices

• Launch national strategies for addressing greenhouse emissions and adapting to expected impacts, including the provision of financial and technological support to developing countries

• Cooperate in preparing for adaptation to the impacts of climate change

P5T Walkthrough Quest 5: Operation BOOM

Operation BOOM It is the fifth mission in Persona 5 Tactic. The rebels have found Marie’s cache of explosives and are working on a plan to sabotage the place by eliminating the guards guarding it. Continue reading as we share the solution to Quest 005: Operation BOOM from Persona 5 Tactica.
See previous: Mission 4 – Once again, with a journey through feelings
Mission details Operation BOOM

How to unlock: Complete Mission 18: A Perfect Plan
Aim: Defeat all enemies in 3 turns.
Rewards: Morgana +20 GP, Erina +10 GP

This mission will allow you to use Morgana and Erina, as well as another unit of your choice; It is recommended to use Makoto as her Vortex abilities can help prevent enemies from spreading too far; Also try not to use units with extended throw like Ryuji.
Operation BOOM Quest Solution

For this mission, you will have to take out the enemies on the left side in the first two turns and then work on the enemies on the right side. There are a lot of explosives in the area, be sure to check through the Analysis view to see the explosive range of the barrels.

Have Morgana move to the other side of the map and then place Erina on the left side while keeping the third unit close to the starting area, but under cover. This should allow you to perform a triple threat and eliminate most of the enemies on this side of the field.

Be careful when engaging the brute enemy on the other side, as his counterattack jump can also blow up the barrels; It’s best not to try to agitate him and focus on doing a triple threat around him.
After the first triple threat, there should be two enemies that were left open to the attack. Have Morgana attack the one closest to him and then move him to the other side. Reposition Erina near the central tower to the north and keep the third unit close to where she is, and you should be able to do another triple threat to take them out on turn three.

Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth Combat Mechanics Revealed

In two months, Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth will be released and fans will be excited to play the demo version of the game on their consoles. But many players like me have wondered what makes this game different from its predecessor. Recently, SEGA released new information about how the combat mechanics differ from its predecessor, including new tasks that Kasuga and his group can use.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth Combat Mechanics Explained

In Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth, players will experience a more improved and challenging combat system where players can attack enemies within certain ranges and conditions. Featuring more dynamic and miraculously rich combat gameplay, players will learn what to expect from the game’s release below:

Character movement during combat
During combat, players can now move freely within a set range. The closer they are to their opponents, the more damage they will deal to them. As they level up, their range increases and they are given a huge advantage in deciding how they will attack their opponents.

AOE attacks
In the previous game, some abilities allowed players to perform area attacks. But at the same time, it was difficult to use them since most of the enemies they targeted were constantly moving. Now in this new game, players can destroy enemies in a straight line or within a circle.

Improved knockback attacks
We can never forget the fact that there are more sufficient and complex knockback attacks. When enemies are damaged and hit by walls and other objects, they take significant damage. For example, when an opponent hits a canister upon being knocked out, the canister explodes, dealing a large amount of damage to them.
Combined attacks with allies
Single attacks don’t usually work against certain enemies, but in Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth, players can team up with their allies and perform combo attacks if they are within range of their allies. Performing combo attacks will not only damage tougher enemies, but will also deepen bonds or relationships.
Brave and Improved Perfect Attacks
Perfect attacks have been greatly improved, and when performing special attacks, players must right-click to perform an extended and improved perfect attack. Doing so will greatly damage enemies.

Slap
When encountering weaker enemies, players can perform a new function called SMACKDOWN. Choosing this option will end the battle quickly with less EXP. This feature is great to use when farming money or items.
New jobs to be found in Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth

Samurai
Aquanaut
Outlaw
kunoichi
Housewife
geodancer

There are new jobs that players can unlock in this new game. There are 6 new jobs and they are the following:

Samurai

Using bows and swords, players can perform a series of attacks that can target enemies within a set range. A perfect job for players who want to bleed their enemies dry.

Aquanaut

Use sea creatures and deep sea-themed items to confuse enemies and leave them in a dizzy state. A job that is perfect for repelling enemies and can help heal allies.

Outlaw

Be a cowboy and use dual guns, dynamite and a lesson on how to defeat multiple enemies. This job can learn various ailments to inflict more pain on enemies.

kunoichi

Female characters can learn ninjutsu, as this job is a perfect way to bait and trap enemies. Using this job will help dominate enemies with numbers.

Housewife

Clear the battlefield with elegant sweeping techniques to eliminate enemies. Use multi-target combat using mops, vacuums, and other tools to take down enemies.

geodancer

Perform Hawaiian-style dance techniques to buff and heal allies. She uses magical abilities to unleash a series of powerful elemental attacks.

Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth will launch on January 26, 2024 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam). For more news on Like A Dragon, check out the links below:

Who is Ernesto? Toshiro’s persona explained

Toshiro Kasukabe is one of the new characters introduced in Persona 5 Tactic. He is a young Diet member campaigning to be Japan’s next prime minister. In an unexpected event, the Phantom Thieves arrived in another type of metaverse and found Toshiro captive there. After being freed, he at first hesitantly offered his help to the Phantom Thieves due to his inexperience in fighting, but later took on the role of the group’s strategist.
When the story reaches its climax during the third act and Toshiro’s relationship with Erina is revealed, Toshiro is pressured by his dark self to eradicate Erina from his knowledge. This pushed Toshiro to awaken her Persona, fusing her with Erina to give birth to Ernesto.
Since the majority of people in the above Persona 5 The games are based on real life people who were known to be thieves or people who fought against authority, who was the real life figure that Ernesto was based on?
Who is Ernesto, Toshiro’s Persona in Persona 5 Tactica?

Ernesto is a Person based on Ernesto “Che” Guevarra, who is more popularly known simply as Che Guevarra. Che was known as a rebel leader who fought during the Cuban Revolution, and his rebellion was known to be one of the most influential revolutions that fought against poverty and authoritarianism. His actions and legacy are quite divisive, to say the least, but his influence can still be seen to this day.
Ernesto in Persona 5 Tactic she took it differently when it came to her appearance, as she has changed genders due to merging with Erina. She also has a gun for her left leg, reflecting how Erina’s left leg also appears to be a metal prosthetic, which in turn also suggests that Eri’s leg may have also been lost during the train incident, and in Instead of bandoliers, your ammunition is lined. on the edges of her fur. She still has the trademark black beret with the gold star. She also bears the title Flame of the Revolution.

As for Ernesto’s moveset, since his leg is the weapon itself, players will have to access the Persona menu and choose the Baywell 45 MkII weapon to fire. He also has an Almighty-type attack known as Liberator, as well as a Support-type move known as Rebirth Crystal.
Although this might seem like Ernesto is the strangest case of a Persona awakening given that Erina is a being born from Toshiro’s cognition, let’s not forget that Morgana was also born from the Metaverse and is a Persona user, while Sophia from P5 Strikers He is an artificial person. intelligence that also managed to become a Persona user.

That explains who Ernesto, Toshiro’s Persona in Persona 5 Tactica, is. For more guides and tutorials, feel free to check out our other Persona 5 Tactic articles here.

RoboCop Rogue City: Auto-9 Upgrade System Guide

He Auto-9 It is RoboCop’s main weapon in Rogue City and the only one that can be upgraded. This iconic weapon of the Detroit city metal enforcer is already better than most weapons in the game. The good news is that you can do even better, with the only problem being that updating Auto-9 is a bit confusing.
In this guide I will teach you how to update Auto-9 on RoboCop: Rogue City.
How the Auto-9 update works
After completing Soot’s final Encore, you will receive your first Omni Auto-9 plate, which allows you to input OCP chips to increase the performance of your weapon. As you play the missions, you will find new Omni Boards and OCP chips scattered throughout the city of Detroit.
You can equip different Omni Boards, which offer a variety of OCP chip nodes that you can enter for upgrades. Each node augments one aspect of the Auto-9 and updates it according to the OCP chip you placed in place. For example, placing a 15% chip on a node that increases weapon damage will increase your weapon by 15%.
The quality of the OCP chips you find is directly affected by your ENGINEERING skill. Once you place an upgrade chip on a node, you can’t move it to another Omni board unless you press the “RESET” button, which removes all other chips.

The Omni Boards are arranged like a maze, with each node leading in different directions. Look at the sides of a node before inserting it into a slot, as it will provide a path much like a flow of energy. Each board has a starting position that is responsible for distributing power.
The best part about the Omni Boards is that they provide significant upgrades to the Auto-9 beyond just stat upgrades. Certain Omni Boards allow you to change the weapon’s firing mode to a powerful single shot or fully automatic. You can even get an upgrade that allows you to shoot without having to reload! These benefits are usually granted to you once you reach the far ends of the Omni Board.
However, not all nodes on Omni Boards will result in an upgrade. There are red dots on the board that will result in a penalty. You should avoid them by choosing chips that directly avoid giving power to that path.

With the right advantages, you will destroy enemies in RoboCop: Rogue City as if they were paper. If you really want the Auto-9 to be powerful, we suggest investing in the ENGINEERING skill early in the game. It will only affect the upgrade chips you find, not the ones you currently have. So having a strong ENGINEERING skill gives you the best OCP chips right from the start.

That explains how to update Auto-9 in RoboCop: Rogue City. For more guides and walkthroughs, feel free to visit our main RoboCop: Rogue City page here.

Rogue City Cast and Voice Actors

As a beloved franchise, Teyon will surely choose the RoboCop: Rogue City Carefully choose voice actors who fit the role. Since this game takes place before RoboCop 3, expect to see some familiar faces as part of the cast. In this article, we will introduce you to the people behind the voice in RoboCop: Rogue City.
Who is the voice behind RoboCop (Alex Murphy) in Rogue City?
Teyon impressively recovered the legendary Peter Weller will voice RoboCop once again in RoboCop: Rogue City. Peter voiced him for RoboCop in 2019 for Mortal Kombat 11 when he was a guest fighter for the roster. To this day, RoboCop remains his most iconic role and there is no one who can do a good job like Alex Murphy and Peter Weller.

The Old Man makes an appearance in RoboCop: Rogue City and his voice is Adam Sims. He also did voices for Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened and Atomic Heart. You may have seen him as Private Zielinski from Band of Brothers.
Since the original RoboCop cast dates back to 1993, it’s understandable that they couldn’t get everyone to play their own characters from the film. We’re not sure who the others are playing, since Teyon didn’t include their characters in the credits screen.

Tomaoke Maeno as Toshiro Kasukabe
Aki Toyosaki like lavenza

All of the Phantom Thieves are back with familiar voice actors reprising the cast. We also have some new faces joining the main cast of Persona 5 Tactica.
Xander Mobus as Ren Amamiya

Ren Amamiya, or whatever you decide to call him, is once again voiced by Xander Mobus. Our quiet protagonist may not talk much, but there’s no denying that Xander is perfect for the role of the charismatic leader of the Phantom Thieves.
Being the voice of Joker for the original Persona 5, Persona 5 Royal, Persona 5: The Animation, and Persona 5 Strikers, Xander is an obvious choice to reprise his role. If you want to listen to some of his other work, you can listen to him as Kogori Mori from Detective Conan and as Sett from League of Legends.
Leeanna Albanese as Erina

The latest member to join the group, Erina, is voiced by Leeanna Albanese. This determined and serious rebel against the tyrant of the new world in which the Phantom Thieves find themselves is responsible for showing them the ins and outs of how things work around here.
Leeanna doesn’t have as much history as a voice actress. Persona 5 Tactica might be her standout performance yet.
Cassandra Lee Morris as Morgana

One of the original members, Morgana, is once again voiced by Cassandra Lee Morris. Not that anyone else can voice this pet cat character. Morgana’s high-pitched voice is too iconic to be replaced.
You may have heard Cassandra Lee Morris in other works. She was the voice of Sothis in Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Lei Fang from Dead or Alive.
Max Mittelman as Ryuji Sakamoto

Few can portray Ryuji Sakamoto’s loud mouth better than Max Mittelman. This blonde member of the Phantom Thieves constantly puts everyone at risk of exposure by shouting out their secret identities in broad daylight. Ryuji won’t have to worry about that as much since he’s trapped in an alternate world, so he’s free to be as loud as he wants.
Interestingly, Max Mittelman was the Harry Osborn to Robbie Daymond’s Peter Parker. So this is not the first time they have worked together. Mittelman is also the voice of Claude Wallace in Valkyria Chronicles 4.
Erika Harlacher as Ann Takamaki

Ann Takamaki is once again voiced by Erika Harlacher. This natural blonde fashion diva is a founding member of the Phantom Thieves, and it’s hard to imagine anyone else voicing her as well as Erika, who has been the voice of this character since the beginning.
Erika has also played other notable blondes, such as Nina Williams in the film Tekken: Bloodline and Violet Evergarden herself.
Matthew Mercer as Yusuke Kitagawa

Matthew Mercer, who has reprized the role, voices the eccentric artist Yusuke Kitagawa. It’s hard to think of anyone who could imitate the grandiose nature of the speech this character makes other than Mercer himself.
Matthew was also the voice of Kanji Tatsumi from Persona 4. And if you’ve played Resident Evil before, then you’ll have already heard of Matthew Mercer and Leon S. Kennedy.
Cherami Leigh as Makoto Niijima

Cherami Leigh returns to play Shujin Academy student council president Makoto Niijima. The Phantom Thieves strategist has returned once again to be a key figure in taking down the bad guys.
You may have heard of Cherami Leigh as Female V from Cyberpunk 2077 and A2 from NieR: Reincarnation. She has a wide range of voices, so don’t be surprised if you don’t recognize her.
Erica Lindbeck as Futaba Sakura

Erica Lindbeck returns to voice Futaba Sakura, the hacker of the Phantom Thieves. Despite her age, Futaba is a techno wizard who is capable of doing the impossible with just a simple computer.
It’s hard not to detect Erica Lindbeck’s iconic voice, even in other works. She was Peppermint from Hi-Fi Rush and Black Cat in Marvel’s Spider-Man.
Xanthe Huynh as Haru Okumura

Mild-mannered heiress Haru Okumura is once again voiced by Xanthe Huynh. While Haru herself doesn’t have as much screen time as the other thieves, Xanthe is still the best choice to portray Haru’s subtle sadism in combat.
You may have heard of Xanthe before as Agnea Bristrani in Octopath Traveler II. She is also the voice of Min from Eternights, a game clearly inspired by Persona.
Robbie Daymond as Goro Akechi

Goro Akechi returns in the Repaint Your Heart Challenge Pack and is once again voiced by Robbie Daymond. Akechi is practically inseparable from Daymond’s voice, and it’s hard to think anyone else would fit the role.
Robbie Daymond previously voiced Peter Parker in the Spider-Man TV series in 2017. He was also the voice of Chai in this year’s Hi-Fi Rush.
Laura Post as Kasumi Yoshizawa

Laura Post returns to voice Kasumi Yoshizawa, a rhythmic gymnast. The adorable freshman and her flexibility make her an ideal person among the Phantom Thieves.
Laura Post has a nice range to her voice that you may not recognize; It’s actually her. Who would believe that the voice behind Catherine from Fire Emblem: Three Houses is the same person? Laura is also the voice of Fubuki in One Punch Man.
MacLeod Andrews as Toshiro Kasukabe

Another new face, Toshiro Kasukabe, is voiced by MacLeod Andrews. We don’t know much about Kasukabe except that he apparently is a member of the Diet who is expected to be the next prime minister. Considering when Persona 5 Tactica takes place, that most likely won’t happen.
MacLeod Andrews does not have such an extensive career as a voice actor. Although he is the narrator of several Animorphs books, he was also the voice behind Green Arrow for Batwheels.
Carrie Keranen as Lavenza

Lavenza is back and once again voiced by Carrie Keranen. The mysterious figure from the Velvet Room who offers her help to Joker joins Tactica to aid the Phantom Thieves once again.
Interestingly, Carrie Keranen also voiced Caroline and Justine in the original Persona 5. Technically they are three different personalities. So if there’s anyone who knows how to play Lavenza, it’s Carrie.

How to Escape the Ethereal Mansion in Remnant 2 (Awakened King Guide)

There are a handful of new landmarks on familiar maps introduced in Remnant 2’s Awakened King DLC. One of them is a mysterious, unremarkable mansion in the sunken search submap. Little did we know that it hides a twisted secret that only trial and error can uncover.
In this guide, I will tell you how you can escape from Ethereal Manor once you have activated the trap in the second floor study. I will also tell you what you have earned as a reward for freeing yourself from the nightmare.

The mansion in question is an unmarked location later in the Sunken Haunt sublocation of the Awakened King DLC. As seen in the image above, the location stands out and almost gives the impression that there could be something inside.
Unfortunately, there is “someone” inside in the second floor study. He and Dran seem to be dissociated and trapped in their own personal hell. Interacting with it will transport the player to a new location called ethereal mansion.

Ethereal Manor is a dream world similar to the worlds we go to every time we use the orbs we get from using the Dreamcatcher melee weapon. Except in this case, a Dran forced us to come to this world. And there seems to be no way out.
A book in the hallway tells us that we must find a way out, but it gives us little else in terms of information. We get our clue to find an exit by choosing the quest item in one of the rooms, called ‘Strange Talisman’. (As seen in the image above, it can be found in odd places.)

On its own, the Strange Talisman is unable to do anything. When he picks it up, he will send you back to the entrance where we need to start the search again. The game doesn’t exactly say that a change has occurred or that you have made progress. You will have to read the event by ear.
To get out of the wayward dreamscape, we need to find the talisman several times until the object is completely transformed into another object.

The second time you pick up the strange talisman, it will now be called: ‘Bloody talisman’. It’s a slightly different looking quest item each time you pick it up. It is literally slowly being consumed in a layer of blood. But at least you have a visual indicator that progress has been made. You will have to repeat the process. three more times to complete the transformation.
So here’s the trick. There is 5 rooms where the talisman can possibly appear every time you repeat the cycle. Two on the lower floor and three on the upper floor. One of the rooms has the talisman somewhere inside, the other rooms will have ethereal versions of the Dran that trapped you here.
You arrive at open a door per loop. If you choose incorrectly, you have no choice but to let Dran grab you and restart everything from the beginning. What I mean by this is that if you’ve found the Bloody Talisman twice and make a mistake on the third try, you’ll have to do the whole thing again with the base Bloody Talisman.

How can you tell which room the talisman is in? If you look at the viewing port at the top of the doors, you may be able to see the glow of the quest item inside. Otherwise, you will see the Dran sitting in one of the chairs.
Please note that there are times when the glow is not clearly visible. When that happens, make a note of the rooms where you know where the Dran is and let the removal process do its part. You’ll just have to hope and pray that the only room the Dran isn’t in is the right one. Although it may be in a dark corner.

If done correctly, the Bloody Talisman will have transformed into the Idol drenched in death for when you have picked it up for the fourth and last time. Additionally, picking up the new amulet will also allow you to return to the Material Plane to the unmarked mansion entrance. Thus ending the strange event.

Remnant 2 Death Soaked Idol
The Death-Soaked Idol has one of the best synergies with the new Ritualist Archetype, particularly when combined with its second active ability, Miasma.

The Amulet effect says:
“Increases all damage by 5% for each entity within 20m that suffers a unique negative status effect. Maximum 5 accumulations”.

When you cast Miasma, you hit nearby enemies with a deadly quartet of status effects: Burn, Shock, Bleed, and Corrode. If there are other enemies nearby, the effects stack even more. It’s easy to say that this is a one-two punch that devours any unfortunate enemies within the AOE.

And this is how you can escape Ethereal Manor and everything you need to know about Death-Soaked Idol. I hope you found this short guide helpful in some way.

All Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn main quests

Alphen and Shionne meet a mysterious girl named Nazamil, who is being hunted by both Dahnans and Renans for being a Lord and Dahnan’s daughter. The couple then decide to help Nazamil when they reunite with her former allies.

After failing to find a safe haven in Niez for Nazamil, the group decides to take her with them while they locate and seal mausoleums.

Nazamil comes across the Helganquil technology and accidentally activates it due to her being a Sovereign, causing a powerful zeugle to appear.

The group then travels to Viscint and finally finds a safe place for Nazamil to live and stay.

The group sets out to help other citizens in the new world. After helping a rancher protect a zeugle from his ranch, the group receives a call for help in Niez, where the Dahnan and Renan have escalated their conflict. Nazamil offered to explore further ahead.

When the group returns to Niez, they discover that Nazamil has been using her powers to cause the voiding, causing the citizens to fear her and become hostile towards her.

Feeling guilt and hatred towards her, Nazamil decides to leave the group and find a way to fix things on his own.

Alphen and the rest tried to search everywhere for Nazamil, but could only find vague clues as to where he had been. They then decide to return to Ulzebek, where Alphen has to face his own dilemma of being a hero trying to help everyone.

The group returns to Niez, but discovers that most of its residents have been influenced by a mask. They then learn from Baephon that it was Nazamil who was behind the masking of the citizens in his effort to make everyone think alike and end the conflict.

Nazamil’s base of operations has been located in a mausoleum deep in the Shinefall Woods. The group then heads to the mausoleum to try to stop Nazamil before it’s too late.

After losing Nazamil to being completely influenced by Keystone, Alphen and the group now have to find a way to reach Nazamil in the control center of all the mausoleums.

The group then makes their way through the hallways, staircases, and monsters of Keystone in hopes that they can save Nazamil from its fate and the new world from its destruction.

When does Persona 5 Tactica take place?

Persona 5 Tactic promises us a reunion of the Phantom Thieves. But with the addition of Strikers, we don’t have an exact time frame for when this game will take place. However, it is possible to find out when Persona 5 Tactic It is carried out by looking at past events.
In this guide, I’ll show you when Persona 5 Tactica fits into the timeline between Royal and Strikers. Beware of spoilers for Persona 5 Royal.
When does Persona 5 Tactica take place?
Persona 5 Tactic takes place between second and third semester of Royal. This means that while the Tactica plot is developing, the main Phantom Thieves plot is still going on. However, due to a crucial detail about Kasumi Yoshizawa and Goro Akechi, we can say that Tactica takes place around November.
In a trailer for Akechi and Kasumi’s game, it is shown that Akechi still uses Robin as his Persona. Likewise, the game also calls Kasumi Yoshizawa as Kasumi. This gives us a pretty good idea of when the game will take place.

It’s worth noting that Goro Akechi and Kasumi Yoshizawa stand out in the time frame. With the two Phantom Thief members representing his false personas, Akechi still wears his detective prince façade and Kasumi is still Kasumi. If this game really takes place after Royal’s third half, that makes things confusing.
However, since Persona 5 Tactic takes place during the events of Royal, it makes perfect sense for Akechi and Kasumi to remain who they are. Akechi has yet to reveal the crazier side of her and Kasumi still doesn’t see herself as Sumire. Kasumi only discovers the truth on January 2, and Goro Akechi only reveals the crazy half of it on November 25. Because of this, the first timeline we can put Tactica on would be around November. Probably before Akechi betrays the Phantom Thieves.
We are not sure if Persona 5 Tactic can be considered canon to the main events. Especially considering it’s time limited. With Persona 5 Strikers, we can at least say it follows Persona 5, so there’s no problem dismissing it as canon. There is no mention of the new member of the group, Erina, or this other world they have been dragged into.

That explains when Persona 5 Tactic It’s going to fit into the timeline. In the meantime, feel free to check out our other Persona 5 Tactic articles here.
